My stay at the Park Hyatt Shenzhen was a study in contrasts. The hotel’s location is perfect, and the service from all staff—from the proactive bellmen to the diligent housekeepers—was truly exceptional and the highlight of my stay.
However, this positive experience was severely undermined by critical failures in room facilities, unacceptable for a luxury brand. The refrigerator did not cool at all, spoiling food. The TV remote was largely non-functional, making it impossible to change channels without restarting the television. Furthermore, the bathroom's magnifying mirror was broken and unusable as its hinge was loose.
These are not minor issues; they point to a serious lack of maintenance and management oversight. It's a shame to see the hotel's excellent staff being let down by failures in basic hardware, which ultimately tarnishes the Park Hyatt reputation.
