The Hotel was out of power and wasn’t accepting reservations at all, they said they would refund the cost but there was no communication before hand that there was an issue and no alternate plans were made, we drove 6 hours to find out that we still had to find a place to stay for the night! The front desk could really care less about helping out or that this was an inconvenience. Pretty much were told that “well we are refunding your stay but that all we are doing”. A little communication would have been nice and a little effort to help find another solution for us. The shrug your shoulders approach of not my problem was a really big piss off after driving that far!
