I was so afraid of what our stay would look like from the mixed reviews. But our trip was 100% perfect. The whole family had a great time and we full intend on going back! Rooms were very clean- NO BEDBUGS! The waterpark was a perfect size. It is smaller than a resort because this is an old hotel with a small waterpark added on. It was not built that way! The views were gorgeous. Parking was easy. Staff was always kind. Life guards were so nice. There were plenty of chairs and towels. My kids enjoyed themselves a lot in the arcade ( it was spotless too). Starbucks available all day was great. Fromt desk got us checked in under 10 mins. If you want an upgraded hotel stay from the norm, this place is amazing.

Half the water park was broken. They did nothing to re-compensate the people who paid to get in and you can’t cancel once you get there. The pools that were open were then overcrowded because over half the waterpark is broke. They were adult adults and large children and the baby/toddler pool coming down the slides on top of them. The lifeguards worked hard to make sure people took turns and keep people safe, but when half the water parks down, everybody has to go somewhere

The rooms were clean, the waterpark was cool, the activities offered were fun, the festive atmosphere for the holidays was wonderful. The very disappointing part was the fact that we booked 2 rooms and requested multiple times weeks and days in advance for them to be adjoining. While I appreciated and did not expect to be able to check in early at 2pm... i was told at check in the adjoining rooms were not possible and that a "request is not a guarantee" and we were put in 2 rooms that were 2 doors down from each other. This was a family trip for Christmas and we had several small children in our party.I called down to the front desk once we got to our rooms and asked again if we could please get adjoining rooms and was once again very quickly told no. At about 6pm (4 hours after we got there), we were coming out of our rooms to see a family checking in to the adjoining room to one of our 2 rooms. They were just arriving and had all of their bags and even asked us if we knew where that room number was. Im confused as to why we could not have checked into that adjoining room at 2pm and the family arriving at 6pm could have checked in to the one we had 2 doors down. Overall we had a good time but it was not fun to have to have 1 adult in each separate room because they could not be bothered by the request that very clearly could have been accommodated.

We had a wonderful time! Room was clean and all of the activities and things to do made it even better. Staff so friendly. All adults and kids had so much fun. Loved adjoining room as well. We will definitely be back. May make it a Christmas experience again.

Clean rooms and very friendly staff. Only complaint is none of the tv channels wete kid friendly. Not that youre going thete to watch tv, but after a long everning the kids wanted to watch cartoons and eat dinner.
