Amazing place to stay in Ubud! Wonderful staff and great service. We were always met with a smile. The room was beautiful and the outside area was like a little oasis of peace with no traffic noise. Would definitelly recommend!

Kandarpa provided a beautiful and peaceful place to stay during our time in Bali. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and there was plenty to do in the area. They were also happy to help arrange day trips or other activities for us to do while we were there. The place itself is simple, peaceful and relaxing.

The property is not that old but already heavily in decay. Such a shame. Poor building quality. Mold in the entire concrete wall in the room. Other wall that separates two rooms is thin as paper. Woke up from the yelling of the child in the next room. As always in Bali the staff is very friendly and the food is good. Roomservice is great and the seating area outside is really nice! Very cosy. The pool is also very nice. But be aware that the hotel is on a road that does not really exists yet. It’s a dirt road at the moment and heavy construction is ongoing on all the sides of the hotel. Even in the evening at 21:00 and 22:00 pm trucks are unloading heavy rocks etcetera. One other thing is that we told staaf we wanted to rent scooters the next morning en the said that was oké. And than the next morning no scooters where available and no alternative was given also. On a positive note, there is a very very nice pool club right next door to the hotel with some of the best food, and very nice staff, with no minimum spending. Please go there and enjoy your day!

Nette kleine Anlage mit sehr freundlichem Personal und sehr gepflegtem Garten sowie einer sauberen - wenn auch kalten - Poolanlage. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, wir hätten uns aber gerne mehr Auswahl bzw. größere Portionen gewünscht. Das Frühstpck wird als Menü serviert und man kann zwischen 4 Gerichten wählen. Bei Nachfrage bekommt man allerdings auch etwas mehr als sein Menü. Erreichbarkeit der Unterkunft war aufgrund von Bauarbeiten mit dem Auto teilweise nicht möglich und zu Fuß nurüber einen nicht befestigten Weg erreichbar. Dennoch wurde sich im Hotel bemüht, die Am- und Abreise so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Uns wurden die Koffer bis an die Hauptstraße gefahren. Sehr postiv! Das Zimmer war sauber und ausreichend groß für zwei Personen. Ab und zu findet man Geckos im Zimmer, die sind aber harmlos und das Personal hat uns auch geholfen, das kleine Tierchen zu entfernen. Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt in der Natur mit einer sehr zu empfehlenden Unterkunft.

Very nice hotel with nice and good restaurant. The staff can arrange motorbike rental, transportation... The staff is very nice. The hotel is located in a quiet area but the road to go in the center is not nice to walk. This is the only "badd" of this hotel.

Sessiz sakin bir konumda ama yine de Ubud merkezine yakin. Personel gercekten cok guleryuzlu ve her konuda yardimci oluyorlar. Ama birkac kotu yanı otelin yolu toprak (yagmur yagdiginda camurlu), engebeli ve geceleri karanlik. Eger motorunuz ya da arabaniz varsa sorun yasamazsiniz. Ilk basta urkutucu gelebilir ama alisiyorsunuz. Diger bir kotu yani ise havlular bazen lekeli olabiliyolar.

The Kandarpa Hotel and its staff are a wonderful place in Ubud to stay. Everything is taken care of very well and maintained in good shape. Additionally the restaurant and breakfast are very delicious and very good value for money. The only thing to note is the road leading up to the hotel is a dirt road and goes along a construction site - which may feel unpleasant at first. However we had no issues with Drivers picking us up and dropping us off.
