The owner refused and gave assurances regarding the state of the beds - fair enough we thought! We would have been better sleeping on the floor. You can feel every spring. I have an auto immune condition, sleep is important hence the our checking. There is no blind on the door, so be prepared to be woken, if you do get to sleep at first light. I feel very angry with the owner - changing the mattress would make this a pleasurable stay, but the lack.of care for cystomers is unacceptable. We left after one night, after paying with three. The owner told hotels.com that he would have changed our room, but we had assurances this was already the best available. Avoid, there are many properties in yhe area - get a good night's sleep then enjoy tjua beautiful area.
