My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary, and overall, it was a great experience that did not disappoint. The service throughout our stay was truly phenomenal—friendly, helpful staff made us feel welcome from the start.
Most of the food and drinks were enjoyable. The main buffet had a fantastic breakfast every morning, while lunch and dinner varied a bit in quality. There’s another breakfast buffet near the beach with similar offerings, but it was hard to enjoy with birds flying in and out and even landing on the buffet line, eating the food.
Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided, and room service was surprisingly quick. We didn’t need pesos at all—my Chase Visa was accepted for the room, and we tipped in U.S. dollars, which the staff appreciated.
As expected with all-inclusive resorts, the drinks were a bit watered down, but still enjoyable. My only real disappointment was the lack of coffee options—I would have loved more variety.
The resort is a little older, but they make up for that with excellent hospitality and nightly entertainment. We especially loved the performances at the lobby bar, with the Michael Jackson show being a standout. The only downside was the persistent "purple shirts" in the lobby trying to sell excursions or spa packages—it got a bit annoying, so we made an effort to avoid them after day one.
All in all, we had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to our next visit!
