Room was very difficult to find. Parking was very far from our room. Room was not stocked with basic essentials like soap. No room cleaning was done unless requested. The fan in the bathroom had a squealing sound while it was running. Really unsettling. We had a group in the next room that were up until midnight talking on their balcony and you could hear everything as if they were in your room. The property itself had Constuction going on so the noise woke us up pretty early everyday. I have never had an experience like this at a Hilton so I was really surprised.

One star for overall experience. It could be 0 if it weren’t for the staff We stayed in the North Pointe Tower and it felt like a forgotten time capsule. Elevator out of service, broken TV that never got fixed, missing tiles, torn canopy, and cleanliness that felt optional. I can understand old and outdated, but dirty is a choice. Walking the property was eerie. There are restaurant spaces that look completely abandoned, dark and empty in a sad, unsettling way. Exposed cables, worn surfaces, and overall disrepair make it feel like no one is maintaining this place. The only redeeming part is the waterpark. That’s where things feel alive, and the staff at Slim Pickins were great. Even then, the bathrooms could use renovation. Shoutout to Aggie at the lobby bar and Dick at the bell desk, both fantastic. But overall, this property should not be open in this condition. Renovations are understandable. Neglect is not. Pick another place!

I really wanted to like this place. From the photos, it looks like a desert oasis. In reality? More like a “has potential, but no one’s checked on it since 2007” situation. Let’s start with the room… “Worn” would be generous. The carpet looked like it had lived a full and complicated life and was ready for retirement. The back of the toilet was cracked (always comforting), the shower was rough, and the tile work was a mix of broken and stained. Even the bedding had seen better days. The overall vibe was somewhere between “dated” and “this room has definitely hosted a few questionable life decisions.” Sleep situation (aka unexpected midnight entertainment): Our 11- and 12-year-olds took the hide-a-bed, which—surprise!—started folding up on them in the middle of the night. It was briefly funny in a “well, this is a story” kind of way, but less funny when you remember everyone has a long day ahead. Nothing like a mechanical failure to spice up your sleep. The water park… This was supposed to be the highlight. Unfortunately, it felt just as tired as the room. Our kids—who are normally all-in on anything involving water—lasted about an hour before calling it quits. That tells you everything you need to know. Also, the check-in process for the water park? A mystery. There’s signage… somewhere… theoretically. We didn’t see it, walked in like normal humans, and were immediately stopped by a staff member who was clearly not having her best day. The whole experience felt more like

The water park is a sad joke. The rooms are really old, the newly remodeled ones just have new paint. Do not stay here. Unless old sad 3 star hotels are your thing. Nothing is clean. We spoke to the manager and the manager says the owners don’t care about this place!

The rooms are incredibly dated and our room had a musky odor as soon as we walked in. The room was fine but everything is very old feeling. Not what I would call a resort feeling. Spring break and it felt incredibly understaffed with long waits for drinks and food. Site is under construction too so no parking anywhere near the room. The water slide and lazy river did not make it worth the stay

They are renovating. Only one restaurant open. It’s their bar in the main lobby. They have patio furniture outside. You can order food there and eat. We were placed in the older building. The rug, couch in the room was dirty. Room needed updated. A lot of construction going on.

Terrible service. They did not have any extra sheets, blankets, or pillows. My kids alept on the pull out sofa bed woth no sheets or pillows. The staff sais they would bring some on two different occasions, yet they never showed up. To top it off, the next day at the water park they didn't have any towels either. I will never go back again.

This "resort" is an utter dump. It's cracked, peeling, fading, broken, battered and abused. It feel like they sucked 50 years of profits out of it and never put a dime back in. I spent 2 nights, the first room I was in was coated in 30 years of cigarette smoke, baked into every surface. I had to sleep with all the windows and patio door open to even be able to breath. Because of that I was woken at 6am to find that I was in an active construction zone, yelling, hammering, trucks moving and dumping, anything but relaxing. They should have shut down the entire wing I was in during it. I requested a different room for my second night and while it was slightly better, every other outlet was broken. I only randomly woke up on time because my phone didn't charge. The water took what seemed like hours to heat up. Bottom line, this is a Hitlon. My expectations for a stay here were vastly higher than what was delivered.
