Almost five stars! Great location and property.

This was a very nice stay, and just a tad away from getting a full five stars! On arriving at the hotel by taxi, one gets the impression of being dropped off at an abandoned property. They need to spruce up out front. Plants? However, once in the door, the design and decoration are great (see photos of the bell staff, too - they are very friendly!). The front desk staff were helpful, room comfortable and in good shape. It’s a bit strange that they supply instant coffee and tea, but no spoons and no way to make hot water. Breakfast was local variety and rather hectic because of the narrow space they leave between the main serving table and the coffee-tea-toast table. It’s quite competitive as a result! Location is fabulous. Great rooftop pool bar and view. Most staff very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking to go to Iguazu to spend all night partying this will be the hotel for you. If you are looking for somewhere to rest before enjoying the waterfalls, you may wish to look elsewhere. There are all night parties on the roof of the hotel with thunderous bass booming into the rooms below.

The staff made our stay better.

The stay at the hotel was absolutely great. The staff were very informative and kind(and especially Yvonne, if I wrote her name right, from the front desk). The rooms are big and clean and the breakfast is good (the common breakfast served in Argentinian hotels). Thanks to Yvonne we were able to celebrate our honeymoon!

Nice enough but could do better

The Hotel is handy to restaurants and supermarkets, although the loud music and style of restaurants better suits younger adult travellers. The hotel has two good pools and one the best views of the area from the rooftop pool/bar/restaurant. The hotel is need of some maintenance though, with broken door locks and handles, as well as some patchy grouting and painting in places, and the aircon barely working in the 8th floor atrium. The bit scared me was the half fallen off door handle in the emergency stairwell on the 9th floor. If people are trying to escape to the roof in an emergency and that handle comes off then people could be trapped in the stairwell. The hotel breakfast is the worst in terms of choice and plate sizes (all plates seems small) based on all the hotels we’ve stayed in South America over a number of weeks.

I have to leave hotel at 5am on the morning. Initially reception staff told me they can not pack breakfast for me, later on I checked with staff in restaurant. She told me they can. When I got up in the morning, picked up that breakfast box, it was very disappointing, they seem throwing all those left over small sweet cakes in that box, it is not eatable as breakfast.

We had a great stay! The front desk was welcoming and even helped me get tickets to Iguazú Brazil when I couldn’t get the transaction to process on my mobile. I would caution anyone elderly to be aware that the bathroom is 2 slightly different levels since the shower doesn’t have a door and it could be a fall hazard when wet. Otherwise, great experience!
