We appreciate the cleanliness and attention to detail, friendly staff, short walk to shopping and restaurants, and opportunity to have fresh air in the room.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

8/10 Very good

Super nice staff with clean accommodations. Walls were paper, thin and we were up much of the night because the people next-door were up late talking. However, we appreciated the flexibility of being moved the next day.
Dori, 2-night trip

Great place to catch some 💤
Josh, 4-night trip

We stay here often. No frills, but the rooms are comfortable and staff is helpful and friendly. Just due to rural location, WiFi is weak in case you need to do business, not the best connection. Also, water pressure is slight again likely rural living. Otherwise, very comfortable.

Was nice and I enjoyed my stay.

Nice Lodge on North End

The lodge was nice. I quite place to sleep and a good location to stay when exploring the north end of the Big Island. Several very nice restaurants and beer houses in the area.
Robert, 1-night trip

This place is absolutely charming. Waimea town is set in lush green cinder cones with cool tradewind breeze. So Hawaiian pastoral, the building is just one story like an old time motel. The room has mini kitchenette and comfortable beds. We enjoyed staying here.
Marian, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

I will recommend the place if you don’t mind if they don’t clean the room every day and the longer you stay they clean less
Maria, 7-night trip

Older facility but clean and lots of room.

The Non Mega-Resort

The location was perfect for our stay, all the activities that we had planned for the weekend was in Waimea or Waikoloa Village so it was so much easier then staying in Kailua town or Waikoloa. All the staff members that we dealt with were super friendly and helpful!! This place reminded me of going to the outer island in the 60's and 70's, super "chilled vibe" If you are looking for the "Aloha Spirit" and not the "Mega-Resort" this is the place to stay!!
William, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We had a room with kitchen. The room is renovated, quite big. We had a great stay with family and 2 kids. Location and parking are also very convenient - you can walk around to a super store, coffee shop etc. Above all, the lady at front desk is super helpful and provided us great customer service. We will definitely stay here again!
Shishir, 2-night trip

The only thing that they don’t have is an iron. Everything else I like staying at castled.
Eth, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The rooms were recently renovated and are beautiful. However the night time temperatures in Waimea in winter can be windy and cold. The Lodge does not provide heat for the rooms, and the room was cool. This made it necessary to dress in layers and to sleep with extra blankets. A small space heater would have been appreciated !!
Charles, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Beside the lighting from outside comes inside of unit. Window shades allows bright lights to enter. Very quiet place to stay. Rooms are clean and bathroom is modern.
Robin, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us navigate a late check-in and provided us with new and clean extra blankets when nights got colder in Dec. The room was very clean and provided everything we needed, as we ate out mostly. It's centrally located in the heart of town, but pretty quite except New Years eve, as it was a great viewing point for all of the local fireworks shows. We loved Waimea as a location to stay in general. We wanted to visit Hilo and Volcano as well as be able to fly into Kona for a non-stop flight.
