Well located

Well located, walking distance from most Sintra attractions (Palacio de Pena is close but a steep up hill climb) and lot of eating options. It's far from everything else. Very happy w/ our stay.

Great staff

This was my 2nd time staying here. It is super cute and close to some of the palaces. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful! There are two staff members that we loved both stays. Dulce is so funny and kind hearted. She is the reason we returned. She is amazing! We also love Ruta! Very sweet! Ruta is very kind. We love both of these amazing ladies! You need to stay here to meet Dulce and Ruta!

This is charming old property with a personal touch. The staff are lovely and helpful, and the house is full of character and - within the inevitable limits of an ancient building - well appointed. Very comfortable beds and effective (and needed!) aircon. The location is wonderful, although coming to Sintra by car is a mistake! Taxis and Uber are plentiful and cheap. I would leave the car behind next time.

Nous avons rerserve 2 chambre début mars 2025, a notre arrivée nous avions les code pour les cadenas et on avait seulement une clé pour les deux chambres que nous avons partagé à 3 . Il m’avait promis un remboursement pour la chambre non utiliser et jamais eu le remboursement et j’ai relancer à plusieurs reprise. C’est du vol je ne conseil pas cette établissement

Only issue is getting an uber to the property to get us back to the train station. Bathroom was small, over 5’i8 your knees will be touching the wall when you use the facilities. Otherwise amazing staff and beautiful room

The staff especially Rueben were all very wonderful! I loved my stay there. Just be aware the road outside is closed to traffic but they will give you a code so a driver can access. I was there during the terrible Martinho storm and the road was closed so the owner actually carried my luggage up the hill for me! I will definitely come back!

Un lugar hermosísimo, muy bien ubicado, es como hacer un viaje al pasado. Prestar atención a las indicaciones que dan al hacer la reserva porque la ubicación no coincide bien con Google maps. Habitaciones súper amplias y bellas. El personal muy atento y amable, siempre hay galletitas en el lobby disponibles. El desayuno es una delicia. Tener en cuenta que no hay mucho comercio abierto para comer por las noches en general en Sintra (especialmente entre semana) y no hay supermercados cerca. La estación de tren está como a 15min caminando. Volvería mil veces, me encantó.

Erg goede kamer maar info kan beter

Heel mooie en comfortabele kamer en badkamer. Mooi groot en goed bed. Erg mooie inrichting in de stijl van het huis. Excellent ontbijt. Bij aankomst werd ons echter niet gemeld dat de ingang zich naast huisnr 15 bevindt (niet 23 zoals aangegeven) en dat daar ook plek is om de bagage uit te laden.Het was erg druk, dus konden de auto pas ong. 1 km verder parkeren waarna we al onze bagage het hele eind bergop moesten slepen. Werd om 2:30 u wakker wegens luchtgebrek ( ik slaap met apneutoestel). Bleek dat de electriciteit was uitgevallen. Dus geen licht, verwarming, warm water etc. Echt jammer want de kamer en ontbijt zijn zeker 5 sterren waard.

Really enjoyed connecting with our hostess Dolce. Good breakfast. The room was large and comfortable. The wifi wasn’t very strong but not surprising with an older structure. Very close to historic downtown. Lovely, highly recommend!

Enjoyable winter stay

Staff are friendly and welcoming, but reception is only open until 5pm which is a bit limiting. Wonderful position near the centre of Sintra. Shower v good and room spotless. As ever, January is a chilly time in Portugal!
