Shower Issue, otherwise okay.

Easy check in process, was there for 3 nights. Drove around the back to the door to get into the building to access our hotel room. The outside door lock was broken so anyone could get into the hotel. The lock on the hotel room door worked though, access was through key card. Switch on wall right as you walk in didn’t work but other lights in room did. Overall the room seemed clean and the A/C worked amazingly. Biggest issue we had was the showed flooded the room within minutes of the water being on. We had to build a dam with the extra towels and ask for extras at the front desk. We were told by the receptionist that someone would be by to look at it but they never came so we did not push the issue further. I asked the lady at reception when we went to get the extra towels if there was anything we could do but she didn’t seem to care. Overall it was a place to stay. Just be mindful that there is a lot of construction going on as well and just to stay safe.

Never again!

The front desk staff was super nice but do not stay here. We checked in late at night, got our room. No problem. The hotel has renovations going on but we weren’t bothered by this. We got to our first room and the smell of mildew hit us. There was a puddle of water in the bathroom. The roller was leaking. Told the front desk in the morning they said maintenance would come look. We were gone for 8+ hours. Got back, maintenance never came. I asked to be moved rooms which they did without hesitation. The new room was a little bit more decent but there was a massive hole in the wall and I could tell when someone was outside smoking because it would filter into the room. The floors weren’t clean. There were nails and old beer bottle caps alone the base board. I also couldn’t tell if it was mold or dirt but the base boards were disgusting. The door knob on the bathroom was not put on properly so we couldn’t even close the bathroom door ! Upon cleaning up to leave I noticed that under the bed skirt the cover on the box spring was dirty ! Not to mention upon first arriving at the hotel, the cigarette ashtray was smoking and on fire. Husband asked for a fire extinguisher and the desk guy seemed to not understand what we asked for. The ashtray found its way into the pound. For the price it wasn’t worth it. It’s cheap but definitely would rather spend more money for cleanliness and working door knobs and none leaking toilets. I do not recommend.

Budget Friendly

If your looking for a 4/5 star Hotel, this would not be a good pick. Hotel is undergoing renovations. Has alot going on. Location is a plus, short distance to Downtown Savannah, Tangler Outlet and a Variety of Resteruants. Best Features are the Pool Area & Frendly Staff.

Very sad state and not just from reno

I was not aware that renovations were going on when I booked. They did not have the size room I booked. The carpet was filthy. The doors remained open, so I did not feel secure. There was filth in the closets and I dropped the remote under the bed and it looked like there was rats that had chewed the baseboards. The complimentary breakfast was just sad. Just some scrambled eggs, cereal, bread and a muffin, and milk, juice. I needed help with the TV since it was set to another language, the phone was not working, so I had to hike to to the front desk. The only positive was the front desk clerk was very nice. This was the worst hotel I've stayed at in decades.

Don't Forget Your Fishin' Pole!

Newly renovated and friendly-family managed. Nice new, clean, step-in showers with floor-to-ceiling glass-doors. They upgraded, and placed the showerhead high enough to make it feel like home. The only thing i would request mgmt to add in 1 conditioner bottle, instead of 2 shampoo bottles. There are a few decent size bass in their pond for catch-and-release, so bring your fishing gear!

Absolutely do not recommend this hotel. It was disgusting. The towels were dirty, room was dirty, hallways hadn’t been vacuumed in forever, bathroom was gross. We couldn’t even give our kids a bath/shower because of how dirty it was. When you turned the shower on the water wouldn’t drain. The smell was dirty, moldy, musty. Never again.

This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. I understand making some changes and trying to improve the property, but the fact that there were wires hanging out of the light fixtures in the bathroom, dirty towels, cables cut in half, no smoke detectors in the room, no exit signs, room was disgusting, the AC barely worked when it was nearly 100 degrees, and the hallways being littered with construction items is UNACCEPTABLE. We had young children with us and we did not feel safe or comfortable. We didn’t even want to shower in the bathroom. If you want to “improve” the hotel, close it while doing so.
This doesn’t even come close to the rest of the hallways. Dirty and full of mirrors, shower doors and construction items.

It has the potential to be a nice hotel but its going to take quite awhile as there is remodeling of the rooms going on right now. Furniture all over the hotel and in the hallway. Im sure they will repaint the walls and change the carpeting in the halls as it really needs to be done as well.
