Room was comfortable for a 2 night stay. Good location for walking to major sites (long walk but very doable). It was tricky to find as it is located inside a building without any clear indication that it is "rome central inn." I would ask the staff for clear instructions beforehand about how to locate their reception desk for checkin. But staff were very friendly and helpful!

Great location, easy walk to metro station but on a very quiet street. Hotel very clean and safe, had small fridge in room which was nice. Reception staff was great and helpful.

Location, customer service at the desk are great. The bed was very comfy and we slept really well. HOWEVER the bathroom is a whole different story. Heavily molded shower and some mold on the walls. It was DISGUSTING. We have bought our own disinfectant in order to bleach the shower cabin. Everything in the bathroom is a bit aged but the shower was just Bad. We are conscious that Rome is expensive but bleach and brush are cheap to buy and should be used. Towels did not smell very fresh either. The Internet is utterly rubbish because although there is wifi, there is no actual internet on one of the days and when it was back on again it was terrible. There is no other missor than one in the bathroom

The property is very hard to find! May be it is typical in Italy or Europe that the hotel name is not clearly/explicitly shown on the street. If you look for hotel name, it is extremly hard to find. The hotel should have direction to hep. This hotel does not have access to big vehicles, it does not have lobby, the check in desk is in second floor, small stair, and lousy security personnel, light at the entrance is off at night and no personnel desk on site.

***TAXI COMPANY ALERT*** Our stay was great - staff was excellent rooms were clean. On our final day at RC Inn we needed a taxi to the airport. There was a display on the front desk that advertised transportation to the airport is 70 euros for two people. Plus, the receptionist said the taxi took credit card for payment. The taxi company picked us up in a Mercedes Benz and the driver was Giacomo Granati. When we arrived at the my husband handed him our credit card for payment. The driver, Granati, said that the company did not take credit cards and demanded payment in cash. We were shocked. We only had about 16 euro coins and only US currency. We asked if he would take US dollars instead and he demanded $100 US. Well, a 70 euros taxi ride does not equal $100 US, but we gave him $100 and 16 euro coins since we did not need to hold on to euro coins. We called Rome Central Inn immediately after the taxi left and told the young lady receptionist what happened. She was shocked and said she would call the manager of the taxi company. The manager called my husband within a minute and stated that we were making up this situation and that his driver had called him to let him know that we only paid him $60. Further Granati claimed that we refused to use a credit card because we didn’t trust him. THE LESSON LEARNED – always confirm the amount of the ride with the driver before leaving the hotel. SECOND LESSON – Don’t taxi to the airport with this company. Safe travels everyone!

Very centrally located to walk to everything. Rooms were clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful with questions and making arrangements to the airport. Excellent choice for a few days in Rome rooms were small but you’re not there to spend time in the room anyway. It was a perfect choice.

Property is very well located, very clean and quiet. However, the best of it is its staff, particularly Alice, a very dedicated, attentive and helpful person. She received us at check-in with a big smile and help us with tips on how to move around in Rome. During our stay, she went the extra mile to ensure our stay would be pleasant.... and sure, it was!

Convenient location

When we first arrived and were given our room, we were impressed, until looking more closely and realizing that fixtures in the bathroom were broken. My husband went to the front desk and they apologized, but couldn't move us until the next morning. Once we got our new room, it was much better. If you are given room #201 check to make sure that the bathroom faucet has been fixed and that the water damage from the shower into the sleeping area has also been fixed. Also, prepare for a noisy night as it is right beside the entrance door to the floor and people coming and going let it bang closed. Our second room was in a much quieter location.
