Beautiful little spot

Simple, quiet place to stay in Coleville with a rockin pool. This part of California is beautiful and quiet- and close enough to Carson City/Reno to drive for amenities.

ADA room on top row.

The "employees" were all friendly. We got an ADA room & the bathroom was for the most part very accessible. The hand held shower was hard to reach but the tub/shower had lots of bars & a bench. A shelf in the bathroom to put a few personal items on would be an improvement. The bed was one of the best we have found in our travels. The only real problem was the chairs. They were very wobbly & moved in all of the joints, especially the arms & seat. We ended up bringing in the patio chairs because they just did not feel safe. When we left i tried to tell the man who I think was an owner about it & was told he was too busy. I tried to mention the wobbly chairs & was told he cant replace any or make any changes to the unit or he would have to reapply to have the room ADA compliment. I am astounded that wobbly, unsafe chairs cant be replaced or at least repaired. The rock cliff was amasing. I might consider staying here again, the scenery was lovely & the bed was the best. Most of the people we interacted with were great. Just one was less so.

Sweet little spot

This little KOA is probably the best maintained property I have ever visited. We stayed at the lodge and it was very clean and updated. The pool area and playground were fun for us as adults. This would be a great quiet place to spend a week with the family.

Great campsite and motel. Perfect sized rooms for traveling with kids. Nice and clean pool (please shower before jumping in) The day on the arrival the staff texted us for a time of arrival. Such a great feature! Very friendly staff!

Beste Unterkunft in dieser Kategorie

Die Unterkunft ist bisher die schönste seiner Kategorie auf unserer Reise. Die Anlage ist sehr schön aufgebaut und gepflegt. Unser Zimmer ist groß und die ebenerdige Terassentür lässt einen tollen Blick auf das Tal zu. Auf der anderen Seite sieht man die schönen Klippen. Der Fernseher lässt sich mit Netflix verbinden, das WLAN ist sehr gut. Das Kingsize-Bett ist sehr bequem und es gibt zusätzlich zur Klimaanlage einen Ventilator. Das Badezimmer ist ok - es fehlt etwas an Ablagefläche. Es könnt sauberer sein. Wir haben ein Haar, 2 tote Fliegen und ein nicht ganz sauberes Handtuch gefunden. Hier sollte man nicht zu genau hinschauen. Am Wasserhahn muss man ziehen, um das Wasser laufen zu lassen. Der Ausblick und die Lage ist super! Ca 1 h Fahrt zum Beginn des Yosemite Park oder zum Lake Tahoe. Achtung: Der nächste kleine Einkaufsladen schließt um 19 Uhr, die meistens Restaurants spätestens um 20 Uhr (gleiches gilt für den Check in). Wir sind nur eine Nacht hier, können die Unterkunft aber sehr empfehlen!

Clean, quiet, comfortable in a scenic setting

Clean, quiet and comfortable motel unit in a scenic setting. Furnishings are a little dated, but are clean and in good condition. The bed was good. The a/c unit didn't rattle. The shower was hot. Checks all the boxes... The hosts are frendly and helpful.
