The location is great and it feels more local but still close to the attractions. The design of the room is nice, especially the nice ceiling. Cleanliness could be much better. The floor was very cold so I would suggest you bring slippers or something. The windows are not very tight so it quickly becomes cold and you can hear everything on the streets. The kitchen was well equipt and functioning. The bed is a sofa bed and it was quite uncomfortable, and the bed squeaks with a slight move. As a solo traveller I felt very safe in the area. The host is very nice and the check-in was good.

Property is run down but not visible in photos, cleanliness was not good, quite dusty and dirty around edges. There were lots of knocks and chips on walls and tiles (some black mould on bathroom tiles) and missing trim around bathroom door. The sofa bed was like trying to sleep on a metal rack as the mattress (can't really call it that) gave zero support. We made the best of it because the area around the property and distance to city centre was good.

Do NOT stay here. It was horrible! The “bed” is terrible, if you can even call it a bed. The entire place stinks like sewage, and their suggestion for how to fix it is to run water and then cover the drain - but if you use the shower to run water, the bathroom floods and it’s all one room so everything gets wet. They’re unresponsive, uncooperative, and if you need help you’re on your own. I wish I could give them 0 stars, I cannot express how bad this place stinks. The location is great, but it really does not make up for how try awful our experience was. It smelt so bad we didn’t even stay one night- we ended up having to leave and find a different last minute hotel further outside of the city it was so vile.

The location of the property was great as it was walking distance to many attractions. Check in was easy and prompt. Cleanliness was medium. My largest complaint is that the shower would overflow into the apartment as the drain was likely very clogged. The first time this happened I let the contact for the property know. Our suitcases were soaked and we spent over an hour cleaning up the water with only towels. We had to hang many of our belongings to dry for the next couple of days. We were only offered clean towels. My husband took apart the shower drain and cleaned out a large mass of hair. We assumed this had been the issue. The following day the shower overflowed again. I contacted the property managers again asking for the shower to be fixed, but they completely ignored us and didn’t respond for the remainder of our stay. We were unable to use the shower for the rest of our stay. I would not recommend staying here.

We were very unhappy with the place that was chosen. It smelled like sewage the window didn’t close all the way, so it was noisy and cold, The heater did not work, It was a different couch than in the photo, the mattress on the couch was old and flat with a dip in the middle, it was also a noisy bed, We tried reaching out to the host and he ignored our calls and messages so we reached out to Expedia who had an issue trying to reach out to the host as well. When we finally got to reach out to the host he Kept saying we would have to take it up with Expedia so it was a lot of back-and-forth, He lied and said that he never got a message from Expedia so therefore could not give us a refund on the other five days we had booked since we were trying to leave, When we asked him for an email to try to show him proof that Expedia has been trying to reach out to him, his response was far from helpful and literally sent us “————@——.com” as the email and when asked to please just give us info he then ignored the rest of our messages. We ended up leaving the very next day and wanted to cancel our stay but are still fighting for a refund.
