The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.

Will stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary trip to New Orleans. Overall, we’re very satisfied with our stay. The room itself is small but spacious enough. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. However, the location was the best part to us. The hotel is located close to Jackson square, the French Market, across the street from the river, and a couple blocks from Bourbon Street.

We booked two rooms for a 6 night stay. We celebrated a graduation and our honeymoon. The staff was amazing. Very friendly, very informative, very helpful. We upgraded our room to one with a balcony with no problem. Our room was very clean and loved the decor. It was small but charming. We had fresh towels every night when we came in and our room was always fresh and tidy. Very peaceful, very quiet. The hotel was in a good location. Walking distance to wherever you would like to go with a few exceptions that may require you to drive. Park in front of hotel when arriving before you park in parking lot to have your car logged in so it will not be towed. Very strict on this. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay

We only stayed over night but loved the hotel, and the room. The staff were also nice as wll.
The red building is the hotel so nice inside!

A perfect little haven

We had a great time at the French Market Inn. We had a queen room with a window - it was compact, stylish and bijou! The courtyard and pool area were a perfect little oasis to chill out in the morning and evening. The staff were all friendly and really welcoming. We will be back!

Windowless room not totally windowless

The service was excellent, very friendly staff. I got a windowless room, but it came with a skylight. While at first I didn’t mind this, the early sun would beam down on me and wake me up super early. I wish I could have put a blind or something to cover the in coming light.

Tranquility and beauty in the midst of the bustle

The hotel sits right on a busy street, but the moment you walk inside it is quiet. The staff were so attentive, bellhop took bags to our room and showed us around. The common areas were beautiful and picturesque. There is a small fridge in the room. Vending machines and ice were located in a building by the pool. Overall, the price of the rooms is not reflective of the quality of the place. However, be aware that parking is offered off site and will run you upwards of $50 a night with parking taxes. However, would 100% stay here again. The property is SO pretty.
