This is more of a hostel than hotel. Many younger people who enjoyed the bands and DJ and the rooftop bar and pool. Never had a room before that had earplugs on the bed in case the live music was too loud lol. Staff were great. Hotel is on a hill so there are steps and the staff made certain a carry our suitcases as we are elderly. It was a good value and we stayed there 2 times.

Nice property with rooftop pool, restaurant & bar. Individual rooms are clean with good A/C. There’s nightly entertainment-live music or DJ and can get very loud at night. This is good option for hostel for young people looking for fun & affordable place to stay. Property is close to town that has restaurants, grocery stores & shopping. Hotel restaurant is good & serves meals all day which is convenient. Top tip-make sure Komodo National park is open before you travel all the way out there.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff was friendly and very helpful. They helped us arrange all our trips around the island. The restaurant is also amazing, with great food and atmosphere. The only downside is the lots of stairs, and carrying bags up and down was a little hard, but the staff is pleased to help. Overall, it was a great stay and I would 100% recommend it!

A great hotel/hostel a 10 minute walk from the waterfront. Good food and decent view. The staff are friendly and helpful. Loud until 10 or 11PM. It was a great value and I would stay here again if I went back to Labuan Bajo.

lovely rooms and friendly staff. restaurant food was delicious and so worth the money that i stayed in to dine most nights (try the nasi goreng!). the walls are very thin, even in the private rooms, so not ideal for light sleepers — especially since there's live music some nights. if you engage the laundry service, do check your items — they initially missed out a piece but managed to find it fortunately.

6/10 Good

When we arrived they had already checked someone in under our name - after 20-30 minutes they rectified the issue and we were shown to our room. The rooms were okay although people in the corridor can see straight through if the lights are on so make sure you keep the blinds closed. The pool/bar area is quite chaotic and can be a challenge to find a seat even if you are staying in house. There were a lot of people there just using the wifi and not buying anything preventing in house guests from having a seat and buying drinks etc. The hotel is incredible noisey there is no other way to describe it. You hear every interaction in the corridors, chairs being moved on the pool deck above and Thai all starts from early in the morning till late evening. Although the hotel advises it (to a fashion) it’s unbelievably noisey and this is not somewhere to stay if you are looking for restful sleep.

We had a great stay at Seaesta Komodo. The hotel-style room was small but perfect for the price (clean, comfortable, and well-designed). The pool area is definitely the highlight, with awesome views and a fun vibe, though it can get a bit crowded in the afternoon, so go early to grab a good spot. Food was solid, and the whole place has a relaxed, social energy without being too loud. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful roof terrace overlooking the bay.

Double rooms are fairly compact but well designed, attractive and very clean. The roof terrace is stunning with views over the bay, and has plenty of seating with bars, restaurant service and a pool.

Good experience

Amazing expereince and extremely social hostel. I would recommend if you are looking for a social/party based hostel but still want your own privacy. The only thing is that the showers only had cold water so that sucked. Also the bed tends to get REALLY heated at nighttime because the AC isn't strong enough. But otherwise really good restaurant at the rooftop and good facilities.

For the price, it’s wonderful. Rooftop pool is great. Gym is nice but had to call front desk because it opened late, private room was good. Breakfast is not included but it is delicious. The service could have been better. Another restaurant/bar in Indonesia where half the staff doesn’t speak English well and the bartender only knows how to make drinks explicitly on the menu.

Dorm room wasnt great. Cramped, incredibly hot and bags all over the floor. Difficult to access top bunk. Upgraded to private room which was much better, althiugh expensive, despite sewage smell. Food was overpriced. Great view from pool and bar.

Beautiful boutique stay

First night before joing a boat was a dorm room...bed was comfy but the ladder to the top bunk was really difficult and the room too hot for me (air con set at 24). They kindly stored my luggage whikst i was overnight on the boat and i returned to a twin room. It was beautiful although being ground floor there were occasional smells in the bathroom. Yes, there's some music noise but its not on too late and nothing ear plugs can't solve. Didnt get to use the stunning roof top pool, but did eat there ...the food was good, if a little expensive for the portions. Needs more vegan options. The worst thing was the whole restaurant being smoking so you couldnt escape the smoke when you ate. Perhaps smokers should be given a seperate area?

The hotel is very well located. The rooftop restaurant and bar was fantastic. They had live music in the evening which was lovely! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this to anyone

Really nice place overlooking Labuan Bajo and the sea. We had a private triple room for two of us and it was a good mix of backpackers and families! We stayed for a couple of nights before our Komodo boat trip and enjoyed the rooftop bar and restaurant both nights (the rendang and tacos were v tasty). Staff were very helpful, plenty water filter fountains around the place, good breakfasts from the cafe and the room was pleasant and very clean. The only thing to be aware of is that the bar occasionally has music playing late, and our room was right underneath the bar, but the staff left some earplugs for us - wasn’t a problem as we were up there too, but something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper!
