The entire hotel had a roach infestation, many exposed wires, and evidence of bed bugs. The singular employee on staff was entirely unhelpful, only offered to switch me from one room with roaches to another that also had roaches. Another lady who was staying there the same night was given a dirty and clearly used room without the room being cleaned, and upon calling the desk to ask for a room change, was offered a pillow. Also, the advertisement for the hotel claimed it was a Baymont Inn and Suites, a reputable hotel chain I’ve stayed at before, but upon arriving, I found out that this location was actually owned and operated by Ashkar Hotels, and simply had Baymont’s permission to use their name on the signage, but was otherwise unaffiliated with the chain. I am very disappointed and angry, my vacation had to be cut short as a result of all of this, and the hotel themselves did not offer me any kind of refund or compensation. A word to the wise, never EVER stay at the Baymont Inn and Suites by Wyndham Columbus, and do your research to make sure the hotel you stay at is actually run by the name on the front door.
