Would have like a little customer service
I never give a five star review anymore. If I stay more than one night in a hotel, I expect my bed to be made and my towels to be changed out. None of them do this anymore. We live an age of please tip me for doing nothing. But I digress. I truly wanted to give the Ramada four stars, but I cannot. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. It was the first hotel I’d been in for a while that actually kept the room at the desired temp. We both slept well. However, our outside door was hard to open and our bathroom door would not close. There had been obvious upgrades that were nice, but they used more space than they had leaving no room for the door to open all the way or for a place to sit anything in the shower or to put a bar to hang towels. Since there was no place to hang our towels, I wanted to requests a clean set for day two. I didn’t mind going down to make the exchange. When we returned for the evening, I planned to ask if I could come back and exchange my towels. There was no one at the desk, and there was no bell to ring or any other way to contact someone. When we got to the room, I tried to call the desk. No answer. I waited a few minutes, and called again. Still no answer. We used cold damp towels on our final day.
Check in and check out we’re good. Very nice people attending the desk. But with zero service in between I had to deduct a star.
