First time staying here or at any sonesta select Hotel. Very clean and safe ample parking staff very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean fast my black light test both bedroom and bathroom, I stayed 5 days and had no problems whatsoever. The amenities are nice in terms of half size Olympic pool indoor heated as well as a workout facility on site as well as laundry and a small marketplace that you can access 24/7 for snacks and beverages. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for the price it's quality and a real value.

Went to check in the staff was very nonchalant about not having the two suite i booked almost two weeks ahead of time. Mind you no email to update us that they were overbooked just got to the property to check in coming from out of town to find out that there where no rooms and the staff just brushed us off like oh well. would recommend.

Overall for the price, definitely worth it and I'd stay again. But we did have a few small issues. We stayed 2 nights and night one, we noticed the TV connection was terrible. We called the front desk and the Manager said it started that 2 days prior and he'd try resetting the Direct TV receiver. This didn't fix it but we were exhausted and just went to bed. Over the course of the stay, the connection never changed. When I booked the room, I specifically booked a room with 2 queen beds, a sleeper couch and a roll away bed. Our room only has 2 queen beds. Again, fairly minor and overall I was pleased.

Our stay was less than mediocre. First they lost my reservation, I was told prior to arrival that I could pay the deposit in cash and then at check in was told I had to pay the deposit with a card. I paid for my stay in full at check in and they continuously tried to charge my card for the entire stay amount every single night we were there. Our room was okay, we liked the layout but the sofa bed had no sheets on it and had food folded up into it. We had to go to the check in desk everyday to reactivate our key cards because they never worked. The pool was dirty and the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Overall, I was not impressed. We travel to the Detroit are often and definitely will not be staying here again.
