THE GOOD Great location close to shopping with good beach for kids. The live shows are some of the best we have seen for free, excellent food selection and freshness. Shout out to Wilbert top notch banana monkeys and was always happy with fast service. The staff work hard and keep the place clean. The BAD Unfortunately we had a terrible experience for the most part this is are 10th vacation as a family and definitely the worst. Where to begin 14 day vacation. None of the pools are heated my wife wouldn't swim in them and my kids lips turned blue after 30mins of being in the pool water. There is little to no seating around the kid swimming pools. Coffee shop service girls rudeness cost tips from us the first morning they made us wait at the counter for a few minutes without looking at us and just talked to each other looking at each other's phones. This might sound petty to complain about but some times the small things get to me more than the bigger things Especially when it comes to getting coffee lol. Gym This complaint might not bother most but as beautiful and fully equipped the gym is they don't allow kids under 16 in. This rilly ruined my vacation part of my morning routine is going to the gym with my kids and letting my wife sleep in. Ps there were no other people in the gym and my kids like to stretch and keep up on there gymnastics prep while i life weighs. The rooms are average. Kids play structures verry degraded unsafe with broken slides.

Terrible

Terrible. Food was completely trash! First morning there we get suckered into having breakfast with some hotel marketer thinking it was only 90 minutes, well it ended up being 3 hours and they kept trying to push us to purchase thousands of dollars to invest in the hotel and the company. It was horrible, never staying here again. Don’t recommend.

Really liked the coffee bar and food at Miramar restaurant. The beach was dirty. The water was dirty with ALOT of seaweed! This was NOT the same beautiful waters as in tulum or playa Del Carmen. The buffet food was always cold, they were kind enough to warm my plate up once in the microwave though. Rooms were just ok.

Everything from check in to check out was bad. We got in early, and waited in the beach, which is very small, for our room to check in at 3pm. At 4:30 it still wasn't ready, and the staff could not have been more rude, when I did nothing wrong. When we got into our room, we could only take one shower because the bathtub water would not go down, not to mention the water comes out like a fire hose, very uncomfortable. the next day we asked for our room to be cleaned which I had to call for 5 different times and they finally came to do it at 8 pm. On the beach they allow people to come and set towels down in the very limited seating area to "reserve" a spot, leaving families to wonder if someone is there or not. Because of this, I had people throw my stuff and my children's stuff on the sand, I also witness 3 women in a full fight over this. Didn't feel safe at all as there was only 1 security guard there. on the 3rd day we went to the cafe that sold coffee and had ice cream, as my kids wanted an ice cream. But because it was 7 pm, apparently they do not offer children ice cream at that hour, they literally told my kids no! When they came to refill the items in our mini fridge we asked if we could have an extra candy bar because we have 3 people in our group, to which we were told no again and he abruptly let our room. Ive never felt so bad on a vacation that I spent well over $3000 for 4 days. It was a horrible experience overall, the best thing to do is leave.

I booked the placed before i took my time to read the review i was so scared after i startijg going through them i was hoping i did not regret the stay. Let me start by saying the place was beautiful everything was perfect from the moment i checked in , a lof of different restaurants with good food , clean room with amazing housekeeping service. If you’re looking to stay on your resort and not venture out this is not the place to be. Beach area is extremely small, very shallow, and full of seaweed. Snorkeling here is pointless. If you want to go shopping or walk around the “town” you will have to get transportation, this is located at least 2 miles from the busy areas. Excursion pickups are complicated because there are more than one “main entrance” used. Staff was always working to keep grounds clean and were mostly friendly. Bilingual staff is an overstatement, there are few people on staff who spoke English. Some will use translation on their phone to help communicate and others will get frustrated and walk away, sending nobody to help further. Average place to stay at best, lack of a real beach was the most disappointing part.

The restaurants are not that good, you gotta reserve for every restaurant, you can only reserve 24 hours in advance and a lot of times there is no place anymore. There is only 1 bar and its empty all the time. I don't recommend this place, it's not bad but just missing a lot. It's more suite for parent with childrens.
