Second on return leg of longer trip. Doing well for a hotel under renovation. Parking lot needs repaving. A ordered full breakfast was offered. Nice quiet stay.

I had to clean the room right after checking in

I had to clean the room of cobwebs, spiders, goop, dust, food stuck on couch, dining table, and more- upon washing clothes, we had to not use the dryer- why you ask? - the filters were full of dead maggots. Swimming pool and hot tub- wasn’t filtering- upon asking we were told that was normal. Later when the Saturday crowd checked in they went ahead and turned on the systems - so not sure why we got the push back as paying guests- as if they only cater to the guests that check in on weekends- very strange - not that they charged us any less.

Shiloh Inn has seen better days

The hotel parking lot was terrible. The breakfast area needed cleaning. No one wiped the tables in between someone eating. The handles on the eggs, ham, and pancake trays were filthy and the syrup dispenser hadn’t been cleaned in forever. The entire hotel needs upkeep.

Needs love & a face lift

Our stay was decent. We were just really confused because the pictures online seemed to paint a different picture of the Shilo Inn. We were surprised to find that it was super run down, paint chipped & had a very musty smell. The tub drained super slow & a lot of things were stained. The balcony seemed to be chipping a lot & the whole place seemed to be falling apart in places. The breakfast was pretty disappointing & confusing with very minimal options for needing a “restaurant voucher”. Overall it served it’s purpose, but I as definitely not worth the price.

Avoid. A real Dump

Knew we in trouble with the entry to the property drive way had more pot holes than I have ever experienced in a parking lot. Then the entry to the hotel speaks for itself picture attached. And the bathroom experience was totally disgusting. Picture attached. I told the 18 year old at the front desk about it. She could care less

70s era shows her age, but the bed was comfu

For a cheap hotel that had availability it’s awesome……it was in the 70s. Truly we slept great. The rooms are very big. And a great location backing the trail. BUT it’s in dire need of repairs and a renovation. And don’t count on the breakfast, it left a lot to Be desired. BUT. For the price and a good bed, I’d sleep there again. .

Misleading

I booked a room with a king bed (it said there were 6 available) and when I checked in 20 minutes later they just gave us two queens and when I protested (couples getaway) they said they were out. At least our room was clean the people that checked in at the same time said the room they were given was still dirty.

Poor choice

The hotel was built in the early 70’s and has never been upgraded. The large hotel is a ghost town. Few staff as well as guests. Not at all worth what we paid. Room and entire facility was old and unclean. Bed buckled in the middle and any extra towels or amenities were provided with an additional fee. The facility needs a complete overhaul.
