For the price, given the location, you can’t beat this San Francisco hotel. Cool old vibe room that had a good bed, bathroom, and view. Next time I am in the area and needing a spot to stay, I will definitely be rebooking this spot. Parking is the only difficulty: I recommend to find a spot that compromises price and walking distance.

This is a basic hotel you are central to transit (BART, MUNI, CALTRAIN ) and Downtown (FiDi, Embarcadero, ChinaTown, Union square). You have a clean room and ask for a room with a private bath if you need it. You can save some money getting a room with a shared bath (still clean and convenient just down the hall). There is even bathrobes and icebuckets available. If you know you are going to spend sleeping hours in the hotel (+/- 7 hours) this is fine and very acceptable. If you need amenities like a breakfast that you pay $18 for or Spa Treatments you won't find that here. There is Mel's Diner, movie theaters and museums all within a block of this hotel which is convenient for me.
