The Crockett Hotel has a lot of charm as a historic building with artwork and architecture to match. It's proximity to the Alamo, Riverwalk, and dining allow for leaving your vehicle at the hotel and walking to these places.
The room was fine, fairly average for a decent, clean hotel room. Our room was small, but sufficient for us (it was also advertised as a smaller room). My only complaint was that the water pressure in the shower was incredibly weak.
All in all, it was a nice stay. Friendly customer service by the valets and front desk at a great location with an affordable price (via Hotels.com).
Also, spring for the parking add on from Hotels.com. It saves you around $20+. The only parking is valet and it's $45 at the hotel.
