Upon arrival, I noticed that the front exterior of the hotel had peeling paint, and the parking lot contained a significant amount of leaves and debris. While these may seem minor, they did impact the overall first impression of the property.
Unfortunately, the room itself also presented some concerns. There was a noticeable musty odor, which suggested possible mold. After looking around, I found that the bathroom wallpaper was damp and spongy, which may have been the source of the smell.
I do want to mention that I really enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool area—it was a unique feature and a highlight of the stay.
However, the most frustrating part of my experience was the confusion around breakfast. I specifically selected your hotel on Hotels.com because it was listed as offering complimentary breakfast. The next morning, my daughter and I ate breakfast, and only afterward was I informed that there would be a charge. While the server was kind and professional, I was surprised and disappointed to be billed $20 for a very simple meal. At no point prior was it communicated that breakfast was not included.
Given the condition of the property and the unexpected charge, I left feeling quite dissatisfied. I would appreciate you looking into this matter, particularly the breakfast listing discrepancy, and considering an adjustment or partial refund for my stay.
