The Good: The location is absolutely amazing with close access to the London Underground. Before we get to the bad, I want to thank the staff for accommodating us and going above and beyond.
The Bad: The hotel in general needs a massive overhaul. This is not a 4-star hotel (see photos). I’ve traveled the world and stayed in some good and bad hotels. If you’re traveling as a family and booking a family room, read on. Family rooms have pullouts which are totally fine. However, the pullouts at this hotel are in a state of disrepair and need to be replaced. Our first room was so bad, we honestly couldn’t lay on the bed without it collapsing. Maintenance came to our room and told us to go downstairs and get a new room. Our new room, unfortunately, was bad as well — equally. The staff was accommodating and booked a second room for us (complimentary) because they had one available. Again, fantastic location but the hotel that needs a lot of love.
That said, when not using the pullouts, and if you don’t mind a hotel that’s a bit rundown but in a great location, go for it.
