Quite easily the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, and as a platinum member I’ve stayed in a lot. Staff here couldn’t care less if you were there or not, at best they ignore you and at worst they downright rude. The local charges are a rip off - even though I knew about them in advance - it basically gets you a few bottles of water. The only positive about this place is the location, and the room was a reasonable size…other than that this hotel is now on my black list.

The light base and other areas were dusty. There was a straw in the toilet. It says valet parking but it was none and no direction for parking ahead of check in. Not a fan of the type of bottle water but it was nice to that you give a couple for each guess, bag was nice but a little disappointing too that it was just a bag of water. Front staff wasn’t that friendly.

Mistakenly booked thinking this was part of Marriott's luxury collection. It is not. Lobby is somewhat cool looking but rooms are drab, shabby, and not very clean. Tolietries are budget, breakfast is mid, and all the extra "service" fees provide no benefit. Total joke - the hotel is trying to appear lux but fails while simultaneously nickle and dining with profit squeezing fees. Stay away.

The fees they charge on top of your stay are insane. They charged me fees on top of my night that I booked. The toilet seat was broken and there was a dried contact on the counter when we got there. They offered everyone else free drinks and breakfast and when I asked she said I didn’t pay for that but I sure felt like I paid for it. My keys would not work either and I went to the front desk and that guy so hateful. There a brochure in the room that says free soda the bar from 4 to 6 and I asked he rolled his eyes and said we don’t offer that. My experience was not great. I would not go back.

I was never given my deposit back. Stayed for 2 nights and cleaned the room before checking out. Had to be moved initially because fire detector was low battery and chirping because they had no batteries or an on site staff member who could change it. This was after midnight. Really disappointed I didn't get my 150 undisclosed deposit back even though I had no messes, damages etc.... in the room. Also no parking unless you pay 75 per night.

I am so displeased with the additional hotel fees. I was forced to eat a basic breakfast that I would not eat again. IT IS NOT COMPLIMENTARY IF YOU MAKE YOUR GUEST PAY FOR IT! I had gone to Chicago to enjoy the great food of the city not the basic "forced complimentary breakfast". The drink tickets were pointless due to the fact that I do not drink. The additional hotel fee is absolutely classless.

BEWARE!!! When you get there they are going to charge you in additional $250 in hotel fees!!!! Not just the fees you pay on here which are already insane. There they hit you again!
They charge an 89.95 daily resort fee and I have no clue what you get for this. They say you get a $50 restaurant.com gift card but we could never redeem it, and some people in our party never received it.
They do not clean the rooms or give you new towels.
Apparently for 89.95 a day you get 6 bottles of water!
The rooms were decent rooms, the location to magnificent mile and transit is really good. That is really all for this Hotel.
The roof top bar wasn’t open, however the space is a nice outdoor space.
The hotel smells like weed everyday all day.
There were only 2 of the staff that were friendly.

I had an interesting experience with this hotel. Everything that vould go wrong did. It was the amazing customer service given by Jessica, Raymond and the check in clerk who is a hugger!!!! They turn my son's prom experience into a night to remember. Thank you for being kind, understanding and accommodating. It doesn’t matter about the opportunities that happened before I spoke to Jessica and the team...Thank you for giving my son who has autism a Prom night to remember!!!!
