The staff were great, especially the breakfast staff. The desk staff were great. The room wasnt very clean, with markings on the wall, the mattress was stained amd carpet was coming up. Very good view of cincinnati.

So Dissappointed

We have stayed at this hotel several years back and was excited to get a great price on Embassy Suites Riverfront, Covington, KY. We checked in and there were 2 front desk people. DJ kept telling the lady helping us to take the room, did you get the room? Hurry take it. My husband and I both caught what he was saying but didn’t know why. Well we got to our room and figured the why. The door to get into the room was very difficult to get into. You had to use your shoulder to open the door and to make sure it closed. The sink in the bathroom was a constant stream. We dealt with it and did not complain. We went to the reception that night at 6:00 and they were out of most snacks and what was there was very stale. Also plates and silverware were often missing from reception and breakfast. Speaking of Breakfast no plates, no bowls, no silverware and the only hot food was if you got an omelet. The poor cook doing the omelets, was all alone and it took him so long doing them one by one. I felt sorry for him. French Toast was hard, scrambled eggs were cold and sausage was floating in water. We ate and left for the day. Snacks the next night look much better, we ate dinner before so we weren’t hungry. Breakfast on Saturday was much more presentable, food was hot and very good. My husband got an omelet so we ate seperately. I went to refill our drinks and a helper came out yelling “sorry about that folks, just look away. He took the broom and swept up a cockroach off the counter. Gross

Overall Good Experience

Hotel Check-In was easy and they even had a room ready early for us. Pool and fitness center were both open! Breakfast is excellent... Especially the build you own omelette station! We did find a bug in our room... Trapped it and left it for housekeeping to deal with. Wife didn't love that. Overall good experience!

Me and my children had a wonderful time here. Great location staff was super friendly and room was big enough for us. Only negative is I think they needed more water in the pool and also they were extremely busy so the line for the omelette was too long . They offered two free drinks at the bar that night which was great

Okay stay wouldn’t come again

It was in a good location , cheap and easy parking but it’s wasn’t clean at all I can’t lie , shower and sink barely drained and staff at check out was kinda rude and pool closed two hrs early last night and they weren’t letting people get late check outs so kid was bummed the pool experience was rushed

Disappointed

The saving grace of this hotel was its staff. 10/10. They were amazing. The hotel in itself is run down + outdated. I stay at embassy suites quite a bit. It’s one of my go tos. This by far was the worst one ever. There was a ring of rust at the bottom of our shower. The top of the shower ring was detached. The lotion on the wall was broken off + just sitting on the counter. The toilet paper holder didn’t have a holder on it so it was just set on the counter. The vents were all rusty + the room Was musty. The room was very roomy though. The other saving grace was the gentleman who made the omelets… he was fantastic. Both days we stayed, we came a bit later for breakfast + by the time we got there everything was wiped out with. I small replenishments which was a bummer. The second morning it was so wiped out I had to take my daughter next door + buy breakfast. Overall we were really disappointed. I wouldn’t stay there again. Again, the staff was phenomenal, it was the company’s fault for letting the hotel Go this badly

Embassy Suites beautiful view of Ohio River.

The view from the hotel was wonderful. I didn't like the valet only parking. It was a last minute choice and there was a chimney sweep conference and it was very crowded. The employees here are outstanding. The breakfast was great. My husband loved the made to order omelets.

Captivating view with awesome service.

I love the hotel. The place is convenient to everywhere, restaurant, event place and park. The service is great and the hotel experience is superb. Staring your day with breakfast and end the night with free cocktails. The shower needs a little reconditioning, a little modernize. But other we enjoyed our stay and the view

Everything was great except for the fact that we didn't have any cold water in our room, it would quickly get scalding hot (toilet included) and we couldn't take a shower but, at least we only stayed one night. We let staff know, they were very courteous and wanted to help us get at least some money back for the inconvenience. Overall, the room was clean and comfy (minus the water situation) and the staff was wonderful. Will definitely stay again.
