Nice stay

Check in staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and we relaxed after a day at the Renaissance Festival. We appreciated the closeness to the restaurant we wanted to go to.

Everything was good until my last night. Actually, it was good until the morning I was to leave. I had requested a 5:00 wake up call, unfortunately when I woke up in the morning and turned to the window, it was light outside and at 5am it is still dark. I was not to happy as my flight was scheduled for 9. We are supposed to be at the airport 3 hours before takeoff, I have a rental car to return and don't really know if I am even going to make it at all due to not getting my wake up call. My stressful morning could of been avoided if someone had followed through. Everything else was good. Room was clean, and the continental breakfast was appreciated.

Prepaid room not available at check in

My biggest complaint was that I prepaid for a room with a king bed and upon checkin at 3:06pm was informed that the room was not available and that they were oversold- only 2 queens available. I was not offered a credit even though I paid more for a room that i did not received. I have never experienced this and beyond disapponted. In addition, one of two elevators was not working which made it very difficult getting up and down from 4th floor with baggage. Lastly, we were woken up all night from someone snoring in either the room next door or below us- the walls/ceiling must be thin to hear something like that. Worst hotel experience in awhile.

Recommend

Room clean, nice bed and pillows. The bathroom needs a fan and tub needs safety bars or make the tub nonslip. Its dangerous. Need to put a bell at the front desk as they are working in back also and don't seem to know when someone is waiting to be checked in/out. Fabulous entry waiting area. Great for just relaxing or reading. Breakfast seating area is nice and spacious. The breakfast offering is basic, but it is included in price.

Not what you expect at a Marriott!

This stay was ok. Reservation did not upload from hotels.com. Had to go eat for an hour to get in. Last stay we were overcharged $210 very unhappy about that. Manager of desk was great. Found the mistake and said it would be fixed.

Our room had sweet eating ants, that wasn’t good. Our beds were comfortable. Otherwise, everything was very good. The young lady at the desk, who was there to check us in and was there in the morning as we checked out, was wonderful and so nice! I might come back sometime
