Pleasantly Surprised!!

My wife and I were happily surprised as soon as we walked through the front door! We quite often enjoy staying at Bed and Breakfasts as we travel across the U.S. But we weren't quite sure what to expect at a "Bed and Brewhouse." It was wonderful. And what I niche. After being welcomed by the very friendly owner/host, he asked if we liked beer. Of course! And within minutes he reviewed a couple brewed on site, and gave us a taste of both. We chose one which we thought was very, very good. Later I had another mug at no charge. I'm not quite sure why a previous reviewer had a such an unkind, slim view of the beer. Possibly, he doesn't get out often.

3bedrooms sharing a bathroom!. This was not disclosed on website listing. Also no TV in room. "Breakfast" was a keurig, oatmeal, stale muffins & granola bars right outside bedroom door, no tables or seating to eat. Like staying at a frat house.

Great Option in Georgetown

We arrived late at night and left early the next morning, our stay was pretty short. The late check-in was very accommodating. We never saw another human being the entire time we were there. The place was clean but a little cluttered, but in a homey kind of way. There was some random stuff in the closet and the drawers of the dresser, I found that kind of odd. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was not a TV in the room, which is fine with me but something to note. I was in town on business, I will likely stay here again.

Eine hochinteressante Unterkunft mit eigener „Kneipe“. Der Besitzer braut selbst. Leider trafen wir ihn nicht an. Das Zimmer ist prima und die Konversation per Nachrichten auch unkompliziert. Leider haben andere Bewohner bereits abends die Teilchen fürs frühstücken aus dem Korb genommen. Das fanden wir unmöglich. Auch das geteilte Bad ist nicht jedermanns Sache.
