For what we paid, it was acceptable but I won’t stay again. The room I selected wasn’t available because housekeeping didn’t show, which was a slight problem but not huge. The room smelled absolutely awful. The carpet needs desperately cleaned. There were still hairs on the floor in the bathroom. There’s a pool but no whirlpool as promised. I’ll definitely plan my next stay closer to my daughter’s campus, the drive, the experience and the lack of food choices negate the savings on the hotel. The blonde woman at the desk is a peach, love her.

We did not use the pool or business services so I can't talk about those. At our entrance the outside trash can was full and bags on the ground. Inside the door were more bags of trash. Like every mid range hotel, the elevator and hallways stunk of marijuana. The website said there was breakfast for purchase and there was a big sign in the elvator talking about being able to get pastries and sandwiches at 'the commons" a restaurant area by the entrance. Well, they offer nothing but coffee so we had to go elsewhere for breakfast. The heater was wacky and wax either freezing or too hot. It was jard to regulate. Beds were comfy and room was clean, but we probably won't stay here again.
This sign is in the elevator but there's no food for purchase in the commons as it states.

This hotel is a good value. I was just passing through Kansas City, but it had more than I expected for the price. The staff were great, the area around it is ok, but be on the lookout after dark. One bigger dog was loose from a house chasing rodents, I’m a dog lover, but I’m not sure how it would react to hotel guests, even though it’s not their territory.

Our car was broken into during the night and many valuable things were stolen. The rooms were down exceptionally long halls, very inaccessable. Our room was dirty - the shower soap holders slimy, tub stained, towels stained. There were human hairs hanging off the bedside lamp shade. KY jelly from another guest in the bedside drawer. Breakfast was promised but it was coffee, all else had to be purchased. Never will stay in a Sonesta again. Would not recommend staying here. Staff was unhelpful and gave us wrong directions to our room in the long halls. Also unhelful when we discovered our car with the broken window and thefts in the morning.

I was not told the room rate would vary per night. In a 3-night stay my rate changed 3 times, range of $30 difference. Also, they charge $13 to get their breakfast, unacceptable.

I booked a room with a king size bed. On the morning of my reservation (valentines day)to verify that i had a king size bed and that there was a microwave in my room. Upon ch3ckin i was told rhat i would have to take a double queen room and that the hotel was full and there was nothing that could be done to help me out. In my room none out the guest outlet worked which meant we could not charge phones watches or anything else. And we found toe nail clippngs all over the floor in our room
