This was perfect for a one night stay. At £78 per night I guess that’s a mid price range for pub accommodation. It was a lovely spacious, clean room. My only criticism would be that the whole accommodation area would benefit from from some redecoration as it looked a little tired.

Owner was very friendly and helpful. We had a chinese meal in the restaurant which was excellent too. We did have difficulties finding the property as satnav took us to another of the same name. Also the google map had a picture if a neighbouring house which i have notified that the address needs to be corrected also.

Wonderful stopover on way to our Daughter’s wedding. Great host and hospitality. Fantastic Chinese restaurant and breakfast next morning. Definitely one to be recommended.

Comfortable one night stay

Very nice lady who looked after us very well, lovely pub , room was good apart from being to hot for my liking luckily two huge windows we could open for some cool air , bed was huge and comfortable, shower was ace , breakfast was great , only small gripe I would have is the pub only stays open to 10pm
