This is the second time I've stayed here for business. I won't be again. Nothing about this hotel is "boutique" other than a tacky velvet bed with diamantes on it. I left 2am the last night due to youths getting into the hotel between midnight and 2am, running through the corridors and throwing chairs, waking everyone up with no sign of anyone telling them not too, or calling the police. The one positive was the breakfast, the cooked breakfast was lovely

Good things, staff were friendly, bar was ok, cooked breakfast was good. Bad things, bed not too comfortable, towels not changed or room cleaned in a 4 night stay, breakfast not available until 8am, rather run down Hotel is quirky, fairly central to Rotherham but up a hill, behind other buildings No evening meals as suggested, but you could get a takeaway or have food delivered and sit at their tables

A very odd set up - You arrive and walk through a conservatory then into a bar area with a small desk. Fella who checked us in was rude and unwelcoming. Shame as the location is great, (we were there for the football) and the room was clean and a good size. They also charge £5 for parking which is not good

Bed was like sleeping in bricks and the blinds only covered 3/4s of the window so let light in all night. Solid bed and light meant zero sleep. The breakfast was ok but staff serving more interested in chatting on their phone

This hotel was really convenient for us. I was staying with my son for a football game so my top reasons were close to the stadium and that it had parking. I expected the front entrance to be from the lovely front entrance but it was actually through the restaurant at the rear of the hotel. The hotel is quite soulless and we didn't see any other guests but that didn't matter for us. The room was clean and spacious. The manager was helpful and I'd recommend this hotel if you're looking for something convenient near the toen centre.

The room was clean and tidy with nice bedding. There was a private courtyard which was nice although hadn't been tidied prior to our arrival, the umbrella and fairy lights were broken and it wasn't well maintained, but nice to have. The pendant lights in the room were too low and I banged my head on them several times. Check in was easy but there was nobody to be seen for checkout and no instructions for what to do with the keys. Despite being a triple occupancy room we were approached by a staff member when our friend came to watch a movie with us in the room. The communal areas are very pretty and well maintained. The bar area is especially lovely and beautifully furnished, which sets a slightly false expectation for the basic rooms. Overall a nice stay, we just felt there could be a little more attention to detail for a more consistent experience. I would recommend it anyway.

Hotel no secure. They leave a fire door open 24 hr for access and claim it’s safe because they have cameras. The room was filthy, not what I booked, complimentary water was unsealed. Under staffed, no management on site to make a complaint to and they didn’t answer their number when I called them. When I did speak to them I was called a liar and spoken over and blamed for not putting things right whilst still there. I didn’t want to spend another second in the dungeon I’d been allocated. If I could give a minus score I would.

Comfortable stay

Lovely stay, room was comfortable, shower was nice, big smart tv. no wardrobe which was a bit difficult but all in all a great hotel had everything i needed for a work trip away.

Basic room, cold tap was producing hot and cold (?), one guy doing his best to run check-in (watching videos on his phone inbetween. which is fine but that’s the level of hotel to expect), one guy left becsuse of a mouse in his room, I didn’t drink or eat there. Check out - no one to be found. Gave my key to the “chef”. Weird experience, felt cheap (but wasn’t) and as the main entrance doors were unlocked with one staff member, I debate what would happen in any form of security incident. I really don’t recommend this place.
