Great location, fab rooms and friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay. I think this hotel offers great value. The breakfast was expensive and to be honest wasn’t very good for the £28 plus service charged. It arrived to our room cold which was disappointing but it didn’t take away from the overall experience which we thought was great. We will be back.

The room was miniscule and not very well laid out. So if you are going to do anything at all other than literally shower and sleep (e.g., read, have a cup of tea or coffee, meet anyone in the room), it was impossible. For example, there was literally no place to put your suitcase. And this hotel was not cheap, so I expected more. The bathroom was quite nice even though it was small. The shower was great. And there is a lovely whiskey bar/speakeasy just off the lobby. So there were some compensations. That is why they got 2 stars instead of one.
