Check in was very pleasant. It was very icy walk to room & I had my elderly mother with me. Room was fine. Went to breakfast at 7:15, it was locked. So no continental breakfast.

Its a beautiful location. The first room i was assigned had gum stuck to the headboard and white stuff on the rug.
Our first room was dirty! There was gum on the side of the headboard ! And there's was white stuff on the rug! I was transferred to another room. The room was mediocre and the bedding dingy! Towels filthy! Hair in shower drain!
These are the filthy -Unused towels! The property looks nice though.

No Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, cups. I felt there wasn’t anything in the room. Extremely basic. Had to put everything that needed to be cold outside. Payed for 2 nights and stayed for 1. Very friendly staff.

Convenient for what we were in the area for. Front desk was not friendly. Room had broken fixtures, outlets that didn’t work. Workers family was upstairs and very noisey.

The room was nice but a little small and drafty. The family was really cool though, once you got got to know them. For the price you really couldnt complain. It averaged about 90$ a night, waffles, cereal, fruit and yogurts for breakfast, coffee, ice and microwave by the office. Really nice on the deck in the morning to have coffee in the sun, especially on those chilly autumn mornings.

I'm in construction. With a background in facility's maintenance. I notice things that people without my background, or unless your a lodging snob, wouldn't notice. So i see why it's 2 star on Google. - That said. We were happy. Quiet. Nice view. Quaint old building. Just be aware, narrow halls, and stairs. Very reasonably priced. The bed was oddly comfortable. No bizarre smells and stains. reasonably clean. - Bonus, waffle maker fer breakfast.made the old lady happy. we get round to just getting away, wouldn't be a bad spot to spend a few nights.

The room was clean. The property was centrally located and very affordable. I stayed during the off-season and the entire place to myself. The hotel offers beautiful views of Winnisquam Lake. It was great to watch the sunrise over the mountains in the morning.

whole facility is neglected and only fills rooms because it is across the road from a lake in a popular resort area. The road is a very busy state route and noisy. The room had no closet/hanging place, no chair, no glass or cup for drinking. The towels were skimpy and everthing felt dirty and old. I will never return and will advise anyone I know to avoid this property.was so disgusted, I claimed illness and left a day early barely stopping to inform whoever was on duty that I felt sick and had to leave.I didn't asky for a refund knowing it wouldn't happen anyway. I just wanted to get out of there!
