nice neighbourhood, quiet and safe. 24 euros from airport to hotel by Uber, 8 minutes walk from tram station. Very cozy bed.
But not sure it's as excellent as other 5 stars, maybe hotels are better and better equipped and decorated nowadays.

Room size is good , service is good. the only downside is that they have a very weird security policy. which they come into your room at 9 or 10 oclock without telling you. we were shocked after we came back to figure out something has changed in our room. There were a gift after we checked out which is quite sweet, even by the end of the day we gave it to some homeless on the street.

The room is comfortable and the bar is very good,above all ,the staff service very friendly. The hotel location is near AMS national museum by walking. However hotel is far from the AMS central station and the tram line 16 still has a little distance to hotel. I think it’s better to take the taxi to hotel if you have more luggage.
Front desk is just ok but a tall male staff(door man?! Or security?) usually stand around that area serve excellent and did us a big help. Room is spacious and comfortable and quite. And massage by water in the bathtub really can released the tiring. The only pity thing is although they offer L'occitane but the ingredients is Sodium Lauren Surfate not nature surfate from plants.

I have been the Bilderberg Garden hotel at Kasteel Valsbroek before, as a reason why I choose it again when I tripped in Amsterdam. Their friendly service and gorgeous room design extremely attract me. I really recommend this hotel, despite the price problem let me disappoint...the hotel.com web page illuminated the price which is inaccurate, significantly lower than the actual amount, we have to pay extra "service charge" when we check out.
I am certainly willing to pay more fee for my accommodation, because the hotel is not only providing a comfortable environment but also demonstrating a precise price to customers, it is really important to us to do a choice assessment.
I consider that this responsibility should be bear, not only hotel management team but also Hotel.com. I am looking forward to seeing this situation will be corrected.

this is an excellent hotel in an excellent (for my purpose) location, quiet and sophisticated. One concern easily to correct, is that with the new "no staff" check in, it seems hard to find a staff member to assist with any question you might have

Online-Self-Check-In was a bit of a desaster. Besides, the Team was in this situation trying its best to be patient and not to loose their minds.
It's pretty obvious, that the hotel is trying to digitilise and bring some maschines in - just a few people on the ground would be nice in case of questions.
