The laundry service was a coin operated washer and dryer with no change machine or detergent sales. The wifi kinda sucks. Bad. The staff are okay. They don't bother you and they're understanding if you're late to pay. No ethernet, tv is outdated but overall 6.5/10; 7.5/11

This is my third time staying here and I will always recommend it. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. We had one issue with noise and the staff resolved it immediately. This is the best place to stay with close proximity to anything you’d want to visit in Charleston. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again! The staff was also super welcoming and friendly! I especially appreciated how quiet and safe the property felt, which is not always easy to find when traveling. For the price point, this Red Roof Inn exceeded expectations. The location was everything. Charleston Harbor, shops and restaurants in the Mount Pleasant area, . . . Shem Creek too. It did not disappoint for the price. Just an FYI, as the hotel is somewhat dated, but it was clean, it was safe and the price was unbeatable for being at the base of the Ravenel Bridge crossing over into Charleston.
