Disappointed and gouged

The room is overpriced for what you get. It’s just not this place but anywhere in statesboro they gouge the rates due to there is no where closer to stay. Will not be staying in statesboro again. I would rather drive from pooler or Savannah and stay in a more well kept hotel.

I'm rating it based on the reviews I've read. Outside needs some touching up, but the rooms seem to be renovated, and all of our towels and sheets were clean. It was good for a simple weekend visiting my kid at college for the weekend.

BEWARE

BEWARE! Horrible place to stay. I was scared to stay in my room and was supposed to stay 2 nights and only stayed 1. The night I did stay- there was a party in the parking lot right in front of my room. Parking spaces had been taken up with folding tables and they had tried to conceal it by parking a work truck horizontally in front of the spaces. I had reserved the non smoking room online and when I got to my room it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and marijuana. I should have gotten the hint when I checked in and the lobby smelled like marijauna. The door to my room did not lock well- the room was filthy and stuff was stuck to the tiles floors and dead bugs everywhere. The bathroom was disgusting and the towels smelled. I was traveling alone and did not feel safe so I drove an hour away to a Hampton Inn for my 2nd night. I did not have any food there- would never eat there. If the room is this bad then the food would not be edible.

The towels were nasty and lice ridden, those were the clean ones though! I was afraid of touching anything at all, super unsanitary! The "free breakfast" was a joke! Nasty and very unsanitary! Everything in the place was so dirty, Dirty is an understatement. I don't know if it is because they are understaffed or because the personal is poorly trained. Either way, I doubt i will ever use any properties managed by Wyndham! They are all like that! Shame on you to false advertice this very low low quality "hotels"

We stayed 5 nights requested a cleaning twice and never received one. They did give us extra towels when asked. the power kept going off and on. Off for about an hour then back on for a while then back off. Requested a wake up call because of power issues and they did not do it. Will never stay there again. Complained bathroom door knob broken only had 1 screw holding it in place. Tub plug was rusty and did not seal just set in the hole.

Checked in at 4:30, found bugs in our room, requested cancellation at 5:15, was denied cancellation by management. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND anyone stay at this place.

It is a safe place to sleep, but don't have high expectation. Rated as a 3 star, but it is a 2 star hotel. Towels are tiny and thin. Lamps may or may not work. Breakfast is mostly bread products. .
