Great downtown place to stay
The hotel is located very conveniently for dining options and local trains. And in-hotel dining is good too. We were there in order to visit MD Anderson which was less than a mile away.

Everything was great except for our pool experience. There was supposed to be reservations but no one was monitoring. The large group of kids and their moms had taken over the whole pool area and trashed it (cups , glasses all over the floor). For the amount of people and mess there should have been more service people but only one person was out there.

Beautiful property
No parking on street, no parking provided. Attached parking garage, but no validation by hotel. Bar overpriced for mediocre drinks. Rest was amazing!

This hotel was the most comfortable room, bed and pillows we have ever had, and we travel a lot .. We will most definitely be going back .. Only issue we had was there was a couple there with young kids fighting and screaming all night..
