Das Hotel ist absolut fantastisch! Das Zimmer wirkte sehr neu und war hochwertig ausgestattet. Die Dusche ist modern, das Bett war bequem. Der Service ist insgesamt auch sehr gut und alle Mitarbeitenden super freundlich. Egal, ob an der Rezeption, beim Frühstück oder generell im Hotel. Vor unserer Ankunft wurden Lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten oder Besonderheiten abgefragt. Meine Begleitung ist Vegetarier und die Mitarbeiterin im Frühstücksraum hat uns dann direkt zu Beginn alle vegetarischen Gerichte vorgestellt. Der Kaffee (natürlich aus dem Siebträger) und das frisch zubereitete Omelette waren ebenfalls hervorragend. Die Lage zur Altstadt von Tropea ist ebenfalls fantastisch. Wir können das Hotel empfehlen und würden auch wiederkommen.

The staff at Sui Generis are very welcoming and helpful. The facilities are modern and clean. We enjoyed drinks by the pool before going out for dinner. And the breakfast was delicious with many options. A big plus was the private parking. Would highly recommend!

Very tranquil, extremely friendly staff on a reception and in the bar and breakfast areas, delicious breakfast (lots home made cakes etc) and very comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean. Property five minutes walk into beautiful Tropea. Highly recommended.

Vi læste om hotellet inden vi ankom til Tropea, men valgte ikke at booke noget på forhånd. Vi gik forbi for at se på faciliteterne og Rocco bød os velkommen på trappen. Kort efter havde vi hilst på nærmest hele personalet og blev vist rundt både i poolområdet, morgenmadsområdet og så et værelse. Vi bookede en nat til at starte med, men endte med at bo der fire nætter med ønsket om flere. Fantastisk imødekommende, smilende og søde medarbejdere hele vejen rundt. Vi følte at vi var en del af en stor familie under opholdet. Deres morgenmadsbuffet er det bedste vi nogensinde har oplevet efter flere hundrede hotelovernatninger. Hver dag et nyt friskt udvalg af mange forskellige søde og sunde retter både kolde og varme. Derudover udviste hotellet en enorm imødekommenhed og fleksibilitet både ved vores ankomst og afrejse. Vi har aldrig følt os bedre tilpas under et hotelophold og planlægger allerede hvornår vi skal retur til Tropea og Sui Generis. De fortjener 10/10 og de mest velfotjente 5 stjerner. Havde et hotel skulle have seks stjerner, så bør det være Sui Generis. Tak til alle ansatte for at gøre vores ophold til en ekstraordinær god oplevelse. Vores varmeste anbefalinger. Maya & Peter

Dass Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist sehr sauber und Zimmer sind wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. In der Garage können die Autos geschützt abgestellt werden. Das Frühstück in entspanntem Ambiente ist sehr lecker. Es gibt frischen Orangensaft und Kaffee, dazu Ei nach Wahl. Leicht außerhalb der Fußgängerzone, welche Fussläufig erreichbar ist. Vielleicht für ältere Menschen ist der Weg etwas schwierig, da alles hoch oder runter geht. Das sollte bei einer Reise nachTropea berücksichtigt werden. Die Unterkunft empfehle ich gutes Gewissens. Schöne kleine und gut gepflegte Anlage mit tollen Zimmern.

Phenomenal property and staff. Everything about this place was impeccable, from the breakfast to the pool to the room size 10/10. The service staff always went above and beyond your expectations. Would highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Tropea, a true 5 star experience.

Beautiful hotel outside of the hustle and bustle of the main strip but easy walking to get there! Underground parking, great rooms and the pool is fabulous. Staff are wonderful - special thanks to Rocco for making our stay perfect!

Without question our favorite and best value hotel of our 18 day visit all over the south of Italy. We loved Rocco and Anna at the front desk who are so friendly and helpful. Giovanni and master baker Manuela run a fantastic breakfast buffet and cafe. Beautiful grounds and stylish rooms make this the complete package.

We travelled throughout Italy for 6 weeks and stayed in a lot of nice places. Sui Generis was the best of all places we stayed. The staff were excellent. They were always friendly, helpful, and willing to answer any questions or give helpful tips. Free, easy parking in a place where parking can difficult to find. Breakfast was fresh and almost like being in an a la carte restaurant. Compliments to the chef for the delicious cakes and pastries made fresh every day. The rooms were spacious and decorated well for the property. If I were to stay in Tropea again it would be at the Sui Generis.

MUST READ. Sui Generis is much better and much more than what you see here. My biggest concern when I travel is where I sleep. This place will forever be unforgettable. The cleanliness is outstanding top to bottom, inside and out! The way the hotel is set up is exceptional. From the elegant sliding doors when you walk in, to the fine detail in the rooms, and even the way the rooms are situated, it was a complete delight. Service is exceptional. We are still thinking of Giovanni's introduction of the extensive morning buffet, to the extraordinary chef, to the landscaper who ensured that every sunbed was aligned and of course to the reception staff. We were scheduled to arrive late at night and they communicated with us through our entire travel time to ensure they waited for us to check in. Ask them any question and they give you the world. Tropea is not just for the beach but also for this wonderful hotel. We miss you all tremendously and wish we were there with you now. Nothing is missing here folks. Just book it.

Amazing hotel/great location./Outstanding service

We had a Juliet balcony rather than a proper balcony or terrace which was a bit disappointing as most of the other rooms seemed to had a real balcony or terrace with a sea view - however the staff and service where amazing. we loved the pool area and the breakfast buffet was out of this world. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is just a short minute walk to the town centre. we loved it.
