O stars. We use to stay here often, it was a lovely place .Not anymore . Upon arriving on 3/26/26 the property grounds were dirty and we noticed there was yellow caution tape around the hot tub. Our room was very hot, the room did not smell pleasant , the carpet , the furniture and the room in general was not clean. My husband went to the front desk to ask if we could be moved to a different room due to the air not working. They said no, they would send a maintenance man. The maintenance man did not come right away so I went to the front desk to tell them how unsatisfactory the room was and asked if we could just check out and get a refund. A man came up and said we could check out, but no refund because we did not give them a chance to rectify the problem. We did actually give them a chance by asking to be switched to a different room and then waiting for the maintenance man who did not show up right away. I also mentioned that the we had looked forward to using the hot tub during our stay and were not informed of it being out of service. So the amenities were not as promised either. Feeling trapped due to no refund, I went back to our room to find the maintenance man cursing and banging on the thermostat in front of my daughter and it was now 95 degrees in the room. We went back to the front desk and spoke to Taylor who said to call hotels.com and have them request a refund and she would approve the refund. I did , and she denied the refund twice. This is a terrible place
