Well I had to switch rooms. The attendant was very rude. He charged me more for the room than what the initial payment was supposed to be. He also refused to give the military discount because he said we’re already getting a still in the room because we went through a third-party. I don’t understand why they offer the military discount if they don’t intend to apply it. Just a very rude attendant. If they don’t like their job, they should switch it.

Located in the middle of Dalhart. There is surely a traffic noise as it is located on the sides of a busy intersection and there's a railway track behind the property. Breakfast was good though and so was the hotel staff. Check-in was easy and quick and staff was able to help you with your queries.

Staff in office very nice. Quick check-in. Room clean, bed comfortable, good wifi,good cable, and good AC. Breakfast was excellent waffles,sausage, eggs,biscuits,gravy,fresh fruit,bagels,sweet rolls, yogurt, cereal,coffee and oj. Only negative were flies in the room and I'm guessing because of all the feeder lots in the area. A little traffic noise and railroad behind hotel. Would stay here again. It is an older hotel but good for an overnight stay

After a very long drive the check in was good got into our room settled down locked the door that looked like it was broken into. No security chain or lock. Bushes teeth with a clogged sink at this point husband is asleep. I look up and there is no smoke alarm paper towels stuffed up inside it After a long drive I was to tired to switch rooms We slept with the large chair in between door and dresser

The room was very clean, but the outside was horrible. There was a group barbecuing and drinking right outside our room until around 11 or 12, which isn’t super late, but really annoying when you have been driving all day and want to get some sleep.

Diamond in the Ruff

You would never know what you get for the price. Our room was large and comfortable. The bath towels were the best & there were even 3 when usually motels/hotels only give you 2 unless you ask. The chairs in the room were easy to clean and since they were not cloth, no stains. My only complaint would be, this is a pet friendly motel and there was really no place for pets to use for a potty spot.

Room appeared ok until one of the drawer handles was falling off, recliner didn't work, the blow dryer was missing from the mount, coffee at breakfast was like syrup. Very disappointing.
