Do not stay here

Place is absolutely gross! Smelled like smoke and sewage. The room and bed were not clean. Thank goodness the window opened for a little fresh air. We couldn’t breathe with the smell. The hot tub was absolutely disgusting. We wanted to Check out that night but it was late. We left the next morning and found much better accommodations. I would 100% not recommend this hotel.

Disappointed

It’s the first hotel I’ve stayed in that doesn’t have a refrigerator of any kind in the room. I thought I would charge my phone but there isn’t any usb outlet anywhere in the room. It’s like a hotel from the 40s. It does have a flat screen tv. Fortunately I am only here for 1 night. I won’t stay here again. Also I took a shower and after an hour I looked at the tub and it still had about 2 inches of water in it. Is all the rooms here maintained that well. Very disappointed

Bad experience on this visit

I have stay at this Days Inn on numerous occasions but time was really bad. I couldn't charge my boat batteries at the poles outside. The girl at the desk said that maintenance had gone home so I had to take up 2 parking spots out back and rum the cord from my room. The light over the sink didn't work but worst of all, I went to the lobby and ask the desk clerk for a 4:00 am wake up call for room 132. I happened to wake up at 4:31 am. Didn't get my wake up call. I went to the lobby but no one was at the desk so I decided to just get the h---l out of there before I loss my temper because I had to get to the Chickahominy river for my fishing tournament which I was prepaid.

Terrible stay

When we checked into the hotel, we were escorted to a room where the door was open and the TV on in one of the beds was not made. We asked for a new room. When we walked into our new room, the light next to the door did not work. The outlets did not work next to the bed for charging telephones and the heating unit did not work either. Very disappointing.

Not as good as the reviews I read

Room was in terrible condition, windows were broken, burn spots and tears in the rug, black streaks and damage to the walls, the tub/shower still had filth and pubic hair in it, toilet didn’t flush correctly.

Poor and unfriendly service- subpar accommodations

Motel staff did not speak to us and were uninterested in communicating. They were either on cell phones the whole time or slouching in foyer chairs. The breakfast was subpar, no coffee and mold on the muffins. Room, bathroom, and dining are were not clean. No blankets, room was cold, window had been left open and unlocked

Good for the Price

I have booked this hotel for the past several trips that I've taken to Williamsburg. Overall, the hotel is great for the price. My main issues were the state of the bathroom ceiling (my boyfriend was concerned that there was black mold on the ceiling, as there were black spots above the bathtub). Also, we could barely open the hotel room door due to the framing being off. We had to practically body slam the door open. Lastly, the bathroom floor had little hairs on it when we checked in, and the carpet had some crumbs and an old earring on it (which I nearly stepped on). I will definitely stay here again, but I do feel that some of the rooms could use a makeover.
