Smelled strongly of cigarette smoke!

We were able to get a first floor room for Our disabled son, but all the luggage dollies were taken and held in people’s rooms, so it was hard for us to get our luggage and items to our room. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the receptionist could only give us a Febreze bottle to spray in the room. The breakfast was a ‘to go’, and they had a lot of options, but I was hoping for a hot breakfast! So it was a little disappointing!

Quiet, friendly place to hunker down after a long day out. Great breakfast offering with plenty of choices. And a great playground at Moore Park for the kids.

Why is it 3 star hotel?

The staff didn’t care about the guest checkin at all. I was simply handed over keys to my room, without any details of when’s the checkout, what’s the breakfast time, what are the hotel amenities - nothing. The room was decent. However you can easily hear if anyone was to walk upstairs of your room. No hot breakfast, everything was frozen/to-go type. The room had a bed smell though. As soon as you enter your face will make a frowned expression.

Not the same as before

Free breakfast was disappointing. Nothing made fresh like the last time I stayed. The person above me spent the evening dragging stuff around and stomping. No insulation between floors. The front desk handed out my room keys to someone checking in after me. They actually walked into the room before realizing there was a mistake. Front desk blamed it on our last names being similar. Whatever.

Highly recommended

We always stay at the shilo inn when we are in klamath falls. It's conveniently located. Customer service is great. The indoor pool and hot tub are a nice amenity. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend it.

Disappointed

Hospitality requires a 24 hour request so room service is every other day, So I had to pick up additional towels at the front desk. The bath towel rack is located above the bathtub inside the bathroom, not on a wall outside the of bathtub shower area, I am a tall person so they would get wet. The Ice bucket had no liners Had to go the front desk to request Breakfast consisted of prepackaged items (they called it breakfast on the go) No creamer except powered packets for half and half no creamer unless you went with something like French Vanilla Otherwise, the room was clean

Decent, but could be great.

Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. It was mostly clean, though there was some hair left on the wall of the shower. There is only one elevator which can really slow things down, especially when a tour bus checks in right before you. Breakfast was underwhelming, and very understaffed, as virtually everything was out of stock and the poor woman was scrambling to try to replenish things by herself.

Overpriced meets outdated lackluster

It was a clean room for the night, but way overpriced for how outdated the hotel was overall. The night attended that checked us in was not friendly. We were from out of town and asked about recommendations to eateries, she responded with look at the paper (list of local eateries). When we checked out I requested a receipt from the hotel and the manager said of check your phone for that, Expedia should have sent you a receipt. What does the site I booked it from had to do with the hotel I actually stayed at? Nor impressed at all, for what we paid, well just go to the Hilton and pay a few bucks more.
