The room given to us has Toilet seat blocked. There are no phones in the room, so I had to go downstairs to reception to complain. When I complained, to my surprise I was handed a plunger to try fix it. I was advised if that doesn't fix it, then I can come down again and front desk will talk to the manager for providing a new room.
I tried Plunging (no expected by a guest doing it in a hotel), it did not fix the issue completely. So went down to reception, the lady at the reception by then had spoke to the manager and gave us a new room.
Fortunately that room had the same issue. As I was not in a mood of doing plunging job again, that late in the night, I never bothered to go back complaining. We left early morning and used facilities where we were going.
