The hotel was given a rating above “8.” It deserved no more than a 5 or 6. The parking lot, lobby, elevator and hallways were filthy. There was discarded food on the ground outside the door, amongst the tall weeds. While the room itself was reasonably clean, there was mold on the ceiling of the shower. The shower temperature fluctuated between scalding and icy within a 5 minute shower (it was 5 minutes because the last 30 seconds were ice cold). The carpet was stained and sticky. The TV was pixilated, regardless of the channel. It smelled of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. We requested, weeks ago, a first floor room due to a walking disability but received a third floor room at the end of the hallway (in a 3 story property) because the desk agent told us “no one looked at the note.” The first floor room was requested a second time when I checked in online hours before our arrival. We won’t be back. Wyndham, you should be ashamed to have your name on the place.
