This was a typical, low cost, motel. The room was generally clean. The shower controls were about to fall off. The shower head was hard to adjust.

The room smelled of smoke, because we’re smoking right outside our door. Missing light bulb in lamps trash everywhere outside. Graffiti. Broken ice machine. Breakfast was not good at all. Used bandages in the elevator. AND. THE DOOR LOCK DID NOT WORK.

This La Quinta establishment is old. It's like a 1980's style old building. It's a step up from Motel 6 as the room was clean and spacious however there was obvious wear and tear throughout the room. One huge thing was our door would not close all the way and lock. We also had a random person knocking on the door at 3am and after we answered thru the door he left. So it is in a sketchy part of Santa Fe. I won't be staying here again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Got a text saying if you need anything text back to this number and so we did. We needed more pillows and our phone did t work so I texted to that number and never did hear back. Other than that it was clean, nice, breakfast was good. We will stay here again.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t the hotel, but rather the owners that my family and I had issues with. My family and I shared a king suite. The room was nice, however the sofa sleeper couch was full of stains and I was weary to even touch it or sit on it at times. Once the bed was pulled out, it was found there were no sheets anywhere for it. The house keeping room happened to be next door and their door was slightly ajar. I proceeded to knock on the door. The woman who answered the door literally looked at me up and down, and simply said, “Yeah?”. I explained there was no bedding for the sofa sleeper and she simply directed me to the office to get what I needed. I went to the office and was assured that someone would bring something. 30-45 mins later I was still left with no bedding. Another one of my family member’s went to the front desk asking about our request. The person manning the desk seemed “shocked” that no one had brought the items we requested and, again insured we would get what we requested. About 10mins later, staff knocked at the door. When I opened it, there was an older gentleman standing at the door and he all but shoved the bedding into my hands, barely making any eye contact with me and simply walked off. Our door also had to be serviced with a new deadbolt replaced. Also, the vending machine rooms were not in service, along with any ice machines. There were 3 locations and none worked at the time. We had to purchase our own ice to keep most of our items cold.

Experience overall was not good whatsoever, the rooms had a smell, elevator was far from our room and when we got there they kept saying they have no rooms available and finally gave us one they stated we have to ensure our walks ins have rooms and it’s first come first serve even with a reservation then the restroom tub drain didn’t work

Had some issues getting checked in. First was given the wrong room, then the room keys didn’t work. Staff blamed me for the keys not working which didn’t make any sense. My friend was getting very annoyed by the delays because he was really needing a nap and we just couldn’t seem to get into a room. Once we got in, the room was pretty good at first, but a few functional things were off. The TV had no way of using the guide or selecting a channel as all the channels and shows were mismatched and even just going up or down on the channel button just sent you to random channels. The tub would fill with water during a shower and take several minutes to drain after. And the door to the room was askew and didn’t fully close at the top. Other than these issues the stay was fine. We eventually got some decent much-needed sleep.

This LaQuinta has all outside entrance doors. My wife said her breakfast of eggs and sausage was stone cold. One of the outside entrance doors requires a room key to open but would not work so we had to walk around to the main entrance. Another guest told the front desk the door wasn't working and the gal said "you have to walk around". What about saying "thank you I'll report it to maintenance"?
