Safe parking was only real positive. Stale musty air all throughout hotel. Old dumpy room with bright white hospital lighting and not really clean either. Loud room near elevator binging all day and night. Felt like I was on the Price is Right next to the wheel being spun. Bob Barker. Wouldn't choose to stay again, especially for the over $100 price paid. Not exactly a great location in SA so not sure how they justify that price to themselves. Someone's cash cow.

Room was clean, and had the option of getting daily housekeeping or not. The staff was very friendly. Loved the modern open lobby/ breakfast area concept. Checked in from home the night before, which made check-in a snap. Check-out was express, too.

Airport shuttle was convenient. The hotel itself is nice and the free breakfast was good. My issue was that the elevator was out of service twice within a 3 day period. I was promised a second floor room and when I got there they only had a third floor room.

It rained the only time we had access to the pool but others were enjoying it when we arrived late in the afternoon. Area was clean. Staff was friendly& helpful. Main issues: glad we were on the 2nd floor as we used the stairs often. Left on Sunday (same time as many others, 11am) &EVERY time the elevator speed on our floor it was full (3 times). So I gave up and left via stairs. Breakfast was better than some places I've stayed but I expected more (no bagels or coffee lids) after reading reviews. They seemed either short handed or new staff in that dept. I appreciated how the staff handled issues, respectful & with grace (another guest made a couple messes accidentally).

My phone fell out of my purse on the shuttle from the hotel to the airport, and Melynda the manager found my phone and overnighted it to my hotel in Santa Fe, NM! Outstanding and excellent! Will always recommend the Heritage Inn and Suites, and Melynda needs a raise!!!

Staff was awesome and moved us to ground level when elevator went out. My husband is handicapped and that kept him from going up and down stairs. Staff even helped me move our things from the 3rd floor to the ground level.

The ac in the hotel did not work, the hallways and lobby were very warm. We switched rooms after the ac in our room didn't work and would not cool under 80. However, the second room also didn't cool under 80. Even after requesting several times maintenance did come the second day and said it was fixed. It was not, they came again and said it was fixed, nothing changed it stayed 80 in the room. The elevator did not work the whole time we were there and the shuttle was being repaired the first day and only was working the second afternoon that we were there. The soda machine in the breakfast area said it was not working, however it did seem to be working and they just didn't want it used.
