Too many issues make this a “no”

We are traveling with a group of three families. Two of the three the rooms weren’t ready at check-in. They were ready about 40 minutes after check-in time. In our room, there was an enormous wet spot on the floor. I’m hoping it was a spill, but it never dried up. There were hairs on the shower wall that didn’t come from us, and the chair in the room had no bottom so I ended up on the floor. Breakfast started at 6 am, but the hot food didn’t arrive until 6:40. My son said, “the only good thing about this hotel is the comfortable bed.” He’s right. The beds were great. There are other hotels within a stone’s throw of this one. They are all similarly priced. Do yourself a favor, and choose something different.

Not great...not terrible.

Room temp was stuck at 74F the entire time. The a/c never would kick on. The toilet ran all night. The provided breakfast consisted of Uncrustables, microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, toast, muffins, and cereal. The staff were friendly but, there were never enough of them. If they had to leave to get towels, they would be gone forever. The location is great if you are going to a Royals or Chiefs game. You can see the stadiums from the hotel. Parking lot looks sketchy but, they don't let you park on that side. The other side is much better.

Rough start but it got better

Very clean, quiet, basic hotel. About .5 mile walk to Kaufman and Arrowhead. Breakfast was good and the staff did a great job of replenishing the food to keep up with demand. Our room was cool, clean and quiet. The one negative was that we arrived about 4pm to check in and there was a long line out the door of people trying to check in as well. Took about 40 minutes to get to the desk, only to be told our room wasn't ready yet. We had to change clothes in the car to make it to the Royals game on time. They did reduce the price of the room by a third without me asking so, I felt that made up for the inconvenience. I would definitely stay there to catch a game due to price, being able to walk to the stadium, cleanliness and it being a quiet, family hotel.

Great place for the price!

Good stay- breakfast was only uncrustables or bread, so if you’re looking for a place wth good breakfast, it’s not the place. That’s the least of my worries, though! Super clean, kind staff, comfortable bed and simply great for a quick stay, especially for the price!

Bargain Dont

Checking in took forever for some reason. I’m all about a bargain hotel but this one left me lingering with displeasure. Floor was dirty in room- bugs alive and dead, dirt, paint(?). There was a smell in the room that was quite powerful of paint or chemicals. Bed was comfy and a/c never got before 73. Hallway smell of weed. Would not recommend.
