The property had different tiers that offered different amenities, however these weren’t given as an option when booking nor were we aware they had different tiers other than all inclusive or not. Also all inclusive was very limited on what they offered as far as food choices and types of alcoholic beverages.

I stayed at El Cid for five days, and have nothing but great things about the hotel, amenities, and mostly, the staff. Upon arrival, everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. Alejandra at check-in really set the tone for what I knew was going to be a great stay. The staff at every angle were beyond generous, attentive, and friendly. My favorites were Alvaro and Rodrigo and a bartender whose name I didn’t catch in the dining area. The rooms were clean and spacious, and housekeeping did a great job at cleaning every morning at the time of my choosing. I loved the easy beach access and the secenic view of the beach from my patio. The only thing that I could say could be improved was the shower in one of the bathrooms. It didn’t warm up to temperature consistently, and the drain seemed to be a little plugged. Other than that, our trip was perfection. Thank you to everyone at El Cid for help making our trip so memorable - I can’t wait to go back!

We enjoyed our stay at El Cid El Moro. We went as a family with young children and everyone enjoyed themselves. The beach access is a plus and the restaurant La Concha was a delight to dine at. All the waiters were friendly and professional and always welcoming. We will be back soon!

Many of the staff was friendly, some were not, towel area, restaurant bar area. Waiters and waitresses were good. We got a massage at the concierge desk, she made us pay a $24 deposit in cash, could not put on room. The deposit was not reflected on our massage bill and given we gave cash, no one would do anything about it. Not sure if that’s standard

Good location Old and dated. Lots of hidden fees. Not enough lounge chairs in the sunny party of the hotel. Bar staff pushy on over priced bad drinks.

The staff that served the pool deck and beach area were fantastic. The drinks and food were all good. The rooms were clean but outdated. The pool chairs were old and worn. In general the hotel is run down and in need of some updates. Some of the staff could be more helpful or friendlier. The kids loved the pool but beware, as I cut my toe on one of the tiles in the pool floor. The first-aid attendants cleaned me up and treated the cut. Not much else was done. They had "beach" voleyball that my family was a big fan of and the staff running the activities were great.If you do not have the all inclusive package, skip the buffet as the price is outrageous and though the food was okay, it wasn't worth the price. The beach was wonderful, and to have service of food and drink brought to you while the kids pay in the sand and in the waves was a highlight of the trip. Worth staying here just for the location.

Siempre vamos de 1 a dos veces al año a Mazatlán ya que contámos con familia y hemos ido varias veces al Cid ya sea moro o castilla incluso al marina y siempre se destaca por buena ubicación personal muuuy amable y habitación amplia con un muy buen refrigerador lo único malo de esta ocasión fue la habitación el pasado abril fuimos por medio de rci esta vez fue por expedía por rci nos atendió de maravilla Jennifer de recepción del moro y nos ayudó en varias cuestiones incluso la habitación era más grande en esta ovación con expedía Jennifer no nos pudo apoyar por que expedía se considera VIP y el check in es con otra personas muy amables también pero la habitación tuvo inconvenientes , el aire no enfriaba a menos de 22 grados el agua calienta no salía tuvieron que arreglarlo el refri no contaba con bandejas en su interior y faltaban varios utensilios de cocina todo posible de resolver pero fueron algunos días que tuvimos que llamar y esperar los arreglos, una mala experiencia fue el sushi que se encuentra en las villas del Cid la comida sin sabor y carísimo uno esperaría algo más por el precio pero se nota que se cada vez más cobran como si fuera Cancún o precios exhrobitantes para el bolsillo de los americanos después de ir ahí no me quedaron ganas de entrar a ningún otro restaurante sobre todo que era la primera vez que lo intentábamos porque como conocemos la zona sabemos los buenos restaurantes que hay alrededor y muchísimo mejores y más baratos.
