City location with the surrounding environment to match. Like many business cities in North America the city centre is not a picturesque location, however the hotel is functional for a one night stay m. Located near to the tram line ‘Blue’ which is free to go to the town hall, Calgary tower, and shopping area, but you need to pay to go further. Rooms are clean and relatively new. Parking is on site, but like many city hotels is around 30CAD per night.

Overall this hotel is a good option for anyone staying in Calgary. It is one block from light rail into city centre or stampede stations. Safeway supermarket and local restaurants are only a 5-10 minute walk away. Amenities are good with free western style breakfast including hot and cold options. The little breakfast area is really comfortable Room is large and well appointed with microwave and coffee pod machine for tea or coffee. Only some tv stations available and the remainder are subscription only which is not so great Minor issue only one lift in building so it can take time in morning or check out time which is 11am All the staff were great and very helpful Overall we enjoyed our stay very much

I can't say that my stay was worth the price I paid for the night, but with the price of a night anywhere, comparatively it was reasonable. Lots of things to see and do nearby, good quality restaurants also nearby, this is not a bad location at all. The staff were all quite pleasant and helpful. The room itself was clean and quiet. I couldn't get my balcony door open wide enough to sit out in the morning with my coffee. This was the reason for booking that specific room. Older towels stocked the bathroom. The one I chose to use was ripped and thin.
